Lots of room inside and out. With generous space inside including a multitude of useful pockets, and outside with its well designed quick access pocket, water bottle holders, and super useful beaver tail, this bag is a go to for hikes. On top of all that, possibly the best harness system on the market.
This pack fits great. It feels great. It holds a ton of stuff compared to my usual day packs. The internal storage compartments are surprisingly large and versatile. Coupled with a decent top compartment for your keys, wallet, or phone it's pretty stuffed.
The front laser cut molle panel/ stowe and go compartment is great for carrying larger gear from helmets to large books. The molle cuts themselves are pretty solid for attaching extra, extra storage to an already loaded pack.
My only real gripe is the side "molle" webbing. These things are flimsy. The stitching looks secure and I've managed to attach a pouch or two onto it however I doubt they can hold anything more than a mag or two for extended amounts of time without stitching failure. Only time will tell.
All in all I would happily buy another one however I doubt I will need to anytime soon.
Although I have not yet had the opportunity to use the pack in the woods on a day hike, I am impressed with it for day travel usage. Of course, as usual, the Eberlestock quality is high and the is comfortable.
Initial remarks. It's a lite weight pack. Good straps. Will follow up
Great pack for day hiking. Great quality
