The H31 Bandit is a great little every-day-carry pack. Its laser-cut MOLLE panel allows you to rack on accessories and provides a place to quickly lash one bulky items outside of the main bag.

Open the front-loading zipper and you'll be surprised at just how much room there is in such a small pack. Compatible with either the 2L or 3L Source Hydration Bladder. Open the top zipper compartment, and inside you will find a key hook, mesh storage pocket, and a third magazine type pocket.

Awesome Pack

Perfect weight and strength for my Treestand pack. Has enough room and straps on the outside to hook up whatever I don't need inside the pack itself.
Shaved a few pounds off my set up with this guy and well worth it.
Also used it for scouting as well as Traveling/vacation.
It's small but the pockets and openings are designed well enough to utilize the space perfectly and small/light weight was what I was after!

Great every day carry

So based on previous reviews I was a little worried that this pack would be to small. Wrong I was able to carry all I needed on a camping trip in the back 40. Tent, sleeping pad , kindle, blanket and water. I am happy with the Bandit pack as my every day carry and it works well for excursions off the grid as well. Great pack and glad I made the purchase. More things to buy from Eberlestock as finances permit.

Great travel/day bag

Picked this up in store before a 10 day trip to Italy and Sicily. Bag was small enough that it was considered a personal item so I was able to carry a second bag. It was also small enough that I could tuck it under my seat and not take up all the legroom. I stand 6'6" with size 13 shoes, so having legroom on an international flight is a premium. The top pouch allowed easy to get snacks, charging cables and headphones. Walking around Rome I carried my DSLR with a 18-135 lense, 2 liter bladder, snacks, sunscreen(wife is translucent) and some misc accessories. After getting everything adjusted I barely noticed the pack on my back. No chaffing or hot spots on shoulders, or armpits.

My one complaint, the side pouches on the outside dont hold a water bottle very well if the main pouch has anything in it. The way they designed the outside pockets are very slim. Which is nice to hold snacks and such.
I would like to see an extra mesh pouch sewn into the top of the lid. Both are really minor quirks of the pack.

Good little pack

The Bandit was a little smaller than I pictured in my mind when researching and ordering it. With that being said, in my experience it carries more and rides better than other comparable packs (think mid sized Camelbaks). The Bandit outperforms all of these, especially when maxed out. Good lashing points on the outside of the pack, compression straps work nicely for sub-max loads.

Good service but faulty construction :/

Pack arrived and I set about using it straight away with some volcano hikes in Indonesia. It performed excellently, however I noticed some stitching and material on the yoke looked like cut offs that had been sewn together. The stitching looking like a damage repair and the material is not cut straight, like the other strap. This has tarnished an otherwise great experience. I would try to contact customer services but no longer have the receipt and an insure what to do.
