First, I would like to say that if you’re spending $400 on a bag it should come with free shipping and free returns, especially since there isn’t a store I can view these in in person. Almost every company offers this. I purchased this bag so I could check it out. The lack of organization and features made me return it. Don’t get me wrong, the bag is nice and extremely well made just not what I’m looking for. I ordered 4 different bags from 4 different places and this one cost the most. I got free shipping everywhere else and free returns. Not only did eberlestock take the longest to ship the bag and receive it, but now I’m out $50 in shipping fees for this bag. In my opinion, that’s crappy customer service and a poor business model if their goal is customer satisfaction. I will not be purchasing from here in the future.
This is an awesome pack! I am using this as my hunting pack as it has plenty of room to hold my Tethrd Lockdown in the center main compartment as well as plenty of molle attachments everywhere for a ton of different configurations. I also added a blaze orange backpack panel from FHF for additional visibility. This is a pro level pack.
Took this out for a ruck today and was highly impressed, great padding and weight support

For how expensive the pack is you would think they would at least get the color right. I order military green but received what appears to be coyote brown. If this is their version of military green it’s not what I had in mind. Not a big deal but not exactly what I wanted. The pack sits very high on the back, making it difficult to look up while in the prone position, even with the straps at the highest setting. As convenient as it is for hiking, the height of the pack means it’s not the most maneuverable. I think it would be better to have the option to drop the pack a little lower. It is a high quality pack but is it worth the price tag of $400? I would say probably not unless you are looking for something specifically like this, you could go with a pack that’s equal to or greater quality for half the price. I have not yet confirmed however, the pack size according to Eberlestock seems inaccurate. The Eberlestock website says the pack is 2100 c.i. or 34L. However the main compartment has to be at least 40L not including the outer pouches. Pack seems sturdy but with a weight of 6lbs that is to be expected. Mostly satisfied but not a perfect pack by any means.
I bought this to be a dedicated truck bag. Some call it a “get home bag”. It works well for this. Ample compartments and external lashing points. The only drawback for me in using it for this purpose, is it’s very tactical looking. Not a big deal. Good, solid bag. Comfortable fit.
Love my new pack and plan to buy more products in the future
Solid bag, very spacious, lots of little pockets and great quality! I’ve used this bag for the range, travel and hiking and it exceeds all expectations! Solid build and 100% recommend!!!
All good
