First of all, I am not sure that the mission lid was to work with the modframe and vapor 2500, but I went for it anyway. I like it a lot except they missed when attaching it to the actual modframe. The straps can be connected to the load lifters, but the defeats their purpose. I simply went to the dreaded Amazon and bought G Hooks that worked perfectly to attach the straps to the lid and lid to frame. By doing this it also adds support to hold the vapor up high when loaded. You should send 2 G hooks for the top straps like you have on the bottom.
Great bag
Perfect addition to the mission assault bag and ruck. I didn't get the load panel, and it secures really well to the bag. I do wish it could be attached to the bag without the ruck. That's about the only negative.

Amazing gear!
Placed order almost a month ago. It was “lost” for 2 weeks. I contacted customer support to correct issue. They claimed they mailed out another. After a week I asked for another update about shipping on the new item only to find out it still hasn’t been sent to the shipper. Customer service told me that it would be sent out on a Friday. I waited until the following Monday again to see it hasn’t been given to this shipper. Canceled my order. Zero stars for customer service
The Lid is, like all of the Eberlestock items I've worked with, very well constructed. The quality is high and the placement and sizing of the compartments is well thought-out. This is probably the first upgrade I'd do to a Frame + Pack configuration that needs a little more volume.
They mention that this is designed to be paired with the Load Panel, and that's definitely true. There is included hardware that allows you to secure the lid without the Load Panel, but that hardware is pretty clearly designed to work well with the Assault Pack, but not the Medic Pack (the clips are designed to connect to a vertical line of MOLLE, which the Medic Pack doesn't have; you can connect them anyway, but it's awkward). Given how well thought out the rest of the Mission EMOD line is, I found it a surprising oversight.

The gear is solid already took the assault bag out and put it to the test. So far I’m liking the bag and its versatility.
