Watch the in-depth pack overview video below.
The G2 is a mid-sized pack with a full-width scabbard to better accommodate weapons with larger cross-sections or bulky optics. The wide scabbard also allows it to serve as an excellent laptop or military radio compartment, and because its also wide at the bottom, users have the option of carrying weapons butt-down or butt-up.
The G2 comes standard with our flat Intex-II frame system. To customize the character of your pack, the Intex II can be interchanged with either the AG2S Gossamer frame, or the AGIF Endo frame (sold separately), or can simply be removed, which effectively reverts the pack back to the traditional G2 platform.

Gunslinger II Product Overview
How To Properly Fit And Adjust Your Pack
Purchased this pack for elk and antelope hunting in northern Wyoming. I chose it over some of the hunting focused packs because I wanted the neutral coyote/earth color. The quality of the build is very apparent, and no detail was overlooked. The pack is light and agile enough for a day outing, but has enough storage capacity for a multi-day trip or for packing out elk. The storage compartments keep gear organized, and the packs fits great. Gun pouch easily accepts a Christensen Arms Mesa with 6x25 scope and bipod, and the detachable butt cover keeps it clean, dry, and protected. Very comfortable to wear all day and distributes weight well. It seems to be very durable and I expect it to hold up for many years. Thank you for great quality and customer focus.
I bought a gunslinger 2 in multicam in 2011. It served me well in iraq and since I've been back stateside as well. Hunting and as a range bag or just about any application when you need to carry a lot of stuff comfortably. The straps are well built and the padding/back structure helps spread weight out evenly and comfortably. Very versatile with all the adjustments plus molle sections to mount poiches or accessories. The gun bag is perfect size for hunting rifles or most limb range rifles. I highly recommend it to anybody.
This pack is the best I have found, but it is not light. Holds everything, carries nicely, no complaints. The real "weight wennies" will notice that it has some heft to it.
Le rattrapage de la tension des bretelles du sac les font s’écarter. Il eut été préférable de faire l’accrochage arrière sur le dessus plutôt que sur les côtés. À part ce détail non négligeable c’est un sac plutôt bien conçu.
I have a g4 operator for long trips, but I wanted something smaller for every day use for work as well as toting my mk12 Mod 0 out with the rest of my range gear out into the boonies of my back yard in southern coastal Oregon. Fits my mod 0 perfect, almost completely, if I were to put a law folding adapter on it would be completely hidden with the muzzle pouch out on the bottom. Inside holds my 85mm spotting scope, ammo boxes, wet weather gear, 6 mags in the top compartment with my multitasker tools and bits, kestrel, range finder, just about everything you could actually need! To see what I could initially put in there I managed to put 4 days worth of clothes, 180 rounds of 6.5 in boxes, 250 rounds of 556 in boxes, and everything I mentioned above including the rifle, and it felt good to haul it around on my back! I’d throw in pictures for proof but I don’t see an option to, so just do yourself a favor and buy this already. My issued Ruck back in 2007-2011 didn’t feel this nice! If the military knew what was good for their boys on the ground, they’d issue gunslingers and operators force wide and not just to the quiet boys making loud noises! Maybe then there wouldnt be a line wrapped around the VA for back injuries. I’m so glad I got this bag even though it wasn’t a part of the patriot sale, but I still got my free hat which I proudly rock every day.
