Just purchased it and it is exactly what I expected. The quality and build of it and how light it is, now the bat wings and a vapor pack and it's ready, no more dragging!.I'm very satisfied with the purchase, I'm 6 2 225 and the tall is perfect fit for me. I definitely recommend this pack great job folks.
I use it for ruck march training with a 50 pound bag of concrete. Works great. Looking forward to pushing the weight up to 75 pound soon. Bitchin' pack!
The mainframe pack with the bat wings is PERFECT - can’t wait to try it out with some actual game meat; but the weight that I have carried is easy to balance - the construction is super sturdy and the adjustment in the straps is ideal for my body type. I did order the tall version due to my long torso (22 1/2”), as measured according to the instructions in the sizing video, and the tall fits perfectly.
The F1 Mainframe in Dry Earth from @Eberlestock. It’s not only comfortable, but you are ready to pack out meat once you take that shot. I used it to pack out my mule deer this last season and am hoping to use it for an elk next season!
I did add the long padded hip belt and it was easy to change out from the standard one that came with the F1.
I love the system that Eberlestock has created with the mainframe and plan on adding some pouches and batwings.
I’m not a review guy and haven’t put this pack to a true multi day hunt test yet, but from what little I have messed with it I can tell it will be an upgrade from my last pack. From top to bottom it feels like a good quality product and I am really looking forward to seeing what it can do in the field. I ordered 2 batwings and the dry bag, and this will be more than enough space to carry all of my gear.
Great pack. Very versatile. Lots of options to suit my needs for each hunt. Like that I can use the batwings for a day hike or the big bag for a week long hunt or both.
Now have 4 Eberlestock packs. Just great packs. Really like the versatility of this frame and batwing combo
Purchased this with the two bay wings and the multipack. All set up it’s perfect for carrying necessary gear and I can unzip the bay wings in the center to load meat. Love the set up and quality of the stitching is excellent. Only thing I wish is the bay wings to have a way to hang my water bag but really slick set up!!!
My lower back is not in the greatest shape, but after the first hike I felt little to no pain. The pack fit me perfectly, and is destined to be the best pack I've used!
The mainframe is another excellent product from Eberlestock. Having the ability to attach different bags makes this the most versatile system on the market. It is a very high quality product.
