Absolutely love the versatility of this Pack. I have six or seven different Add in and accessory packs now and I love how I get to mix and match and zip them onto the main frame. I packed out quite a few elk now with it and the weight distribution is awesome too. Really enjoying it!
The F1 mainframe is amazing! Super strong and comfortable. As soon as it came in, I unpacked it and put it on my back. Then I had my son, who’s about 70 pounds, sit on the shelf of the frame. I walked around my house with him on it and it was plenty comfortable. Looking forward to packing out an elk! Thanks for a great product!
This park is lightweight, and outstandingly modular. Perfect lightweight scouting pack with a frame to carry a bulky tripod (which you can leave assembled and strapped to the frame), or throw on a vapor or duffel with batwings to carry in everything. Best part is you can convert back to a lightweight day pack after dumping the vapor/duffel.
The Eberlestock modular system is adaptable and functional, and the F1 Mainframe forms the foundation. We now own the Mainframe, with two Batwings, a Spike Duffel, and an F7 Kite making up our pack system. Everything either zips or straps to the Mainframe. With the Batwings zipped to the Mainframe and the Spike Duffel zipped between them, there's plenty of space for additional supplies, like a tent or a Grubcan/bear canister for food (both will fit at the same time), or for carrying meat out after a successful hunt. One caveat regarding pack sizing: The lowest usable harness ladder rung on the regular Mainframe is sized for a 19" torso. One possible improvement in design: At least one additional hook at the top for holding connecting zippers closed would be helpful. Overall, we are very happy with the Mainframe and would buy again.
The frame is well built and durable but still light weight. The modularity makes it versatile but certain pieces/combos are kind of clunky. If it was a little wider to allow another row of molle it would solve most of the problems of 2 pieces fitting side by side
I've use it only a handfull of times thus far for turkey hunting. I like the fit , feel, and the ability to have full range of motion when frame is on. Very comfortable and should have bought one 2 years ago when I was looking at them. I placed 2 bat wings on it as well and very, very happy with this purchase!
Got the F1 for ruck training. Very comfortable and easy to strap down whatever size dumbbell I need for the day. Ive also strapped down some camping gear onto it(sleeping bag, tent, etc.) And things that don't usually fit together in a backpack. Two thumbs way up!
Great pack. My son has one he uses mainly for shed hunting. He swears by it. I set mine up with bat wings and small belt pouches and gave it to him so he can set it up for elk and deer hunting. He’s stoked!!!!
It’s been raining almost every day since I got mine. Looks like it’s built tough and solid (my terminator XL is), and I like how you can build it specifically for what you intend to use it for.
I love the main frame and all the options from supper small to large multi day packs.
