The F1 Mainframe represents what is arguably the most durable and versatile pack frame on the market. The F1 features a tubular aluminum frame to provide its unparalleled strength while maintaining ultra-light capabilities. Tested to hold more than 700 lbs., this ultra rugged frame utilizes YKK zippers to allow the attachment of a variety of packs and accessories to fit any backcountry hunt. ULTRALIGHT SETUPS
- The Vapor 2500, 5000, or 7500c.i. for any length adventure with ultra-light considerations.
- Use 2 Batwings when you plan to go in light and come out heavy. Stay quick, light, and mobile with the Batwings. They are intuitive and make packing out meat simple.
MID-RANGE SETUPS
- Pair with the Spike Duffel or Dry Bag with Batwings for a 2-4 day hunt. Pack all of your gear into the backcountry and when you reach camp and drop your gear, unzip the duffel or dry bag and hunt in your ultralight Batwing setup.
- If you like the organization and function of a backpack, the new Vapor 5000 is the ideal choice for a 2-5 day trip. Allows for top-loading or front-loading access and use the Mainframe when it is time for some heavy lifting.
EXPEDITIONARY SETUPS
- For a 5-10 hunt, use the new Vapor 7500. Pack all of your gear into the backcountry and when you reach camp and drop your gear, the Vapor series with collapse nicely against your frame to allow you to day hunt out of your camp.

Eberlestock will issue a full refund for any item still in new and sellable condition that has been returned within 45 days of purchase directly from Eberlestock. Items purchased through alternative sites or dealers must be returned to them. We politely request you return items with the original tags still attached if possible. In some cases, missing tags and bags may result in a 10% restocking fee. Items with excessive pet hair, odor or dirt will be returned to the purchaser without refund.

Most Recent purchase was a dry earth F1 main frame. I bought it after recently purchasing another one in the mountain camo. After buying the first one I realized the quality and comfort of the pack. Gave the camo version to my son and got the dry earth for myself. Going to use them for the first time in May for shed hunting. Very nice packs.
Everything seems great. Not 5 because I have not done a heavy pack trip yet. Will know more this fall!
3 of us used this pack in Alaska on a DIY moose hunt. They worked flawlessly training through the summer starting at 40lbs all the way up to 125lbs. Moose quarters rode nicely on the pack and was about as comfortable as 125lbs could feel. It'll be going on many more adventures. Love the pack. I'm 5'11" and got the Tall Frame and am glad I did.
Bought into the hype around another company’s high in pack. Used it in Wyoming in 2019. Not saying it was a bad pack, it was designed for everyone, not me.
Sold it and picked up a F1 tall. Started slow adding pieces. A rifle scabbard, saddlebag, batwings, drybag and Transformer.
I now have the ability to put together a pack for any given hunt. Hike in, set camp and drop gear. Get the pack down to the bare minimum that I need for day hunts.
Life doesn’t get much better than that in my opinion.
