I was in the market for a new pack and bought this because of the sale price. Love the immediate shipment and fast delivery for my product and the product itself.
It’s my second bag from them. The different storage areas make sorting items in the pack easier.
Advice to eberlestock would be to have more photos of the pockets and storage area on the site. I like how they show how the bags are used but images of the pockets and how many liters they fit is helpful (no one can quantify square inches, don’t tell us that)
One nitpick is the labels attached to the product aren’t exactly correct.
Looking forward to using this pack. All the compartments make it quite diverse. Well made.
I am enjoying it and receiving attention and compliments from friendly encounters. It is like the military rucks we had in the army but in it's own style. I like that I can stuff a wool blanket in the bottom compartment; similar to where we stuffed our sleep system. Also, moving the shoulder straps higher or lower is great. The large side pockets are awesome as well. I must've done 8-12 miles in the Cuyahoga National Park on a Saturday- luckily I live very close - and I wanted to keep going further! People look at me like I'm carrying a bull on my shoulders. A young Belgian man snapped a pic from behind and added, "Very American look." I was pleased.
So far I like everything that I see more than enough pockets. I have a 4 day archery elk hunt planned in September can’t wait to try it out. Thank you Eberlestock for your attention to detail.
Great pack well made , love everything but the mesh pockets. Also wish the hydration pockets were a bit deeper. But other than that , would recommend
Really love the pack. Great quality and am looking to buy another one.
I have yet to use this on a hike, however first impression is very solid. I was using a mountainsmith pack of roughly the same size, and loved it. The Destroyer appears to be even better than my favorite pack of the last five years. More side pockets make little things like my jet boil and bottles accessible on the outside very convenient. The ability to either use or stow the compartmentalized interior is nice. My one complaint is the water pouch is more suited for the two liter not the three liter I purchased. Aside from that one con, this pack is by far my favorite.
I knew it was going to be big.... I put my entire Clark Hammock tent sleep system/shelter it in along with the hammock air pads, under quilt, and pillows etc... Probley throw in a jet boil and freeze dried meals to have a quick grab and go bag for camping....
Its not my first Eberlestock bag and probley won't be the last....
Wish I could have snagged the "dry earth" but the grey looks really good...
Perfect
Received pack in time for week-long camp trip. Capacity and then some. Own other eberlestock packs and accessories. Good quality. Very flexible for different setups. Almost to the point of confusion. Be nice to have references for features and options. They are doing better on that with some of their video clips.
