The G2 is a mid-sized pack with a full-width scabbard to better accommodate weapons with larger cross-sections or bulky optics. The wide scabbard also allows it to serve as an excellent laptop or military radio compartment, and because its also wide at the bottom, users have the option of carrying weapons butt-down or butt-up.

The G2 comes standard with our flat Intex-II frame system. To customize the character of your pack, the Intex II can be interchanged with either the AG2S Gossamer frame, or the AGIF Endo frame (sold separately), or can simply be removed, which effectively reverts the pack back to the traditional G2 platform.

Almost Perfect

I’ve had this bag for a while and I never stopped in to do a review. This bag really is amazing. Bomb-proof construction, well thought out features, and actually very comfortable. This is a bag you could carry all day with very little discomfort. I wish I had an eberlestock bag when I was in Afghanistan. Nowadays, I don’t get as much use out of it as I’d like. Regardless, it’s a fantastic bag. The only negative for my is that I could use a few more organizational pockets, but that’s a minor issue. Without the extra pockets, the bag has a very sleek exterior, which I like. Can’t have your cake and eat it, too. Definitely not enough to take away a star. Nothing is perfect, but this bag is damn close.

Awesome pack

I wrote a review about the GS2 a few weeks ago, and still feel this is the best pack ever made. I’ve since discovered a couple of internal pockets that I didn’t see before, and I found the well-integrated openings for the water bladder tubes near the top of the pack. I read that some users couldn’t get the tube mouthpiece through the openings, but I had no issues. The cap needs to be passed through first and then the mouthpiece. I also had no trouble fitting the 3L bladder in the internal bladder pockets. I can’t speak as to why others had the issues. I bought some awesome US-made external pistol and rifle magazine pouches from EagleIndustries.com for my M1A (20 round) and SA XD .45 that fit perfectly on the pack. I could not be happier with this pack. Thanks, Eberlestock.

Gunslinger 2

Awesome pack fully adjustable.
Lot's of molle inside and out.
Comfortable padding.

Solid but small

This pack is great for what is designed for. I have no critiques of the product.

I will say, there isn’t a lot of room in it. Maybe some wet weather gear, pack insert, random stuff and water. I definitely make use of the external MOLLE with additional pouches.

Almost perfect

Love the backpack with two critics, I purchased the 3 liter hydration with the backpack so there is not a pocket for it only two small pockets for small bottles of interior compartment.
It will just sit in the large compartment.
Also I looked at a YouTube Eberlestock video that said it comes with a rain cover before I purchased my bp did not have raincover, I called customer service and the man said it does not come with rain cover, he also said I could cut open the middle of the two smaller
pockets to place the 3 liter but I looked at it closely and don't see how I could do without destroying the linings.
