Had this bag for a little bit now and it’s become the most useful pack I’ve ever had. Made it really hard to purchase another Mystery ranch bag because this does the role perfectly. This bag is spacious or can be cinched down to stay a smaller pack for any other use. I’ve had an opportunity to use this on a field problem and numerous ranges. Had it packed with a Spotting scope, clipboards, ammo, mags, sand socks, clothes, water, food, and a Barret MRAD with the suppressor in the rifle compartment. My only complaint is I wish it had some kind of a holder you can attach over the laser cut MOLLE section that would hold a highcut or normal helmet for easy access, and then roll away for when not in use. Almost like my Agilite AMAP,3. also possibly a removable lid like my terminator pack. I’d recommend for military sniper use.
Using it for taking my photo equipment or my Tikka T3X Tactical and it fits all I need in there.
Typically getting to my deer watch prior to legal shooting time requires hauling a gun case of sorts, which is burdensome. Not anymore!! This baby puts everything I need in the pack, completely encasing my firearm until I need it at half hour before sunrise! Absolutely awesome! Keeps it nicely protected while bouncing around in the back of the Ranger box. Plus everything in the pack is organized. I’m hooked. Thanks for putting out a great pack. (Pictures are it’s maiden hunt on a cold November morning Whitetail hunt).
I have had many bags NorthFace Osprey Lowe Gregory over the last 40 years. I own an Eberlestock G4 operator which is an awesome pack also but too large for every day usage. I am a wilderness EMT and I needed something that was rugged enough to handle the wild yet capable of EDC in the urban environment. The G2 gunslinger fit that bill. I followed Eberlestock packs for about three years before I purchased one...I'm very happy with both.
Starting off I am currently waiting for it to be shipped. I work hard for my money & ordered a pack and some other stuff because one item was Soldout my order was canceled & currently waiting refund. Instead of calling or emailing canceled the entire order. So I had a choice to wait for refund and order again and maybe something else not be available or transfer money & give them another shot … we’ll i did place another order and hopefully when it gets here if no other issues I’ll leave another review. Just flustering for my hard earned money making a big purchase to me & having to jump through all the hoops even speaking with a rep said oh you can just Oder on line .. if I didn’t have the funds I would have to wait .
G2 Gunslinger II
Solid. Buy it.
I never in my life thought I would be excited about a backpack but I will say I love the Gunslinger. Super well built and the layout is well thought out.
Wow, I knew this would be a high quality well thought out bag, but the bag literally has a place for everything and the backpack straps make it perfect for a go bag as well as a emergency travel bag for your vehicle while traveling in winter conditions.
