I ordered this pack as a meat hauler pack which it might still be used as one but I realized it was kinda small for what I thought it was… no big deal I was looking for something to store my saddle setup in and this works great! The wings open up to hold my sticks and the top and bottom flaps hold my platform. This is my second pack from Eberlestock and the quality is amazing! I look forward to the seasons to come with this pack.

I am 6’5, 295 and the pack feels amazing on my back as well. Almost like nothing is there!

The original X2 frame was just too small for anyone over 5 ft 10, this one corrects for that oversight. Most of the main feature the same. So basically great. A few changes that are not as good - no sewn in hip pockets so you have to buy some molle pockets for left and ride belt, the cinch material at the top of the bag is really crinkly and noisy, not great for hunting, the top lid pockets have become one monster pocket which isn't as nice for organization. Also. I think the clips on the side straps and the top bottom are smaller for some reason, probably doesn't matter, but seems less durable.

Like the title says, this pack is perfect for my mobile hunting needs. Built and designed perfectly with an almost perfect mix of durability and well placed features. Not to mention, this pack is quiet! Which suits my hunting needs perfectly. 10/10 would recommend this product to anyone.

X2 pack will serve as my bug out bag. Perfect size with two wings to hold circular objects. I plan to add a 3 liter hydration bladder soon.

Just returned from a week long hunting trip where I had the opportunity to put the new X2 to the test. I purchased the X2 for the ability to transport my Hawk Helium lock-on stand and Hawk Helium 20" climbing sticks as well as all my other hunting gear need for a day on stand. This pack performed exactly as I hoped it would. It was very comfortable with the full load. I was able to have everything I needed to sit very comfortably for all day rut hunts and the only thing I had in my hands while walking in and out was my bow. There is way more room in this pack than what I pictured. The internal frame made carrying the load a lot easier. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone who needs to either pack out a deer or that needs to carry a stand and sticks deep into the woods.

I was really disappointed in this pack I thought that I ordered a larger pack with the Horseshoe opening in the front but apparently I didn't it won't fit everything that I needed to and I don't return things.

I really love the new x2. It is extremely well made and fits me perfectly. I had the original x2 and loved it. There is a couple things that the old one had that i miss. The only thing on the new x2 is i wish the top lid buckels on the back of the pack would be further down so i could tighten it and it would cover the stuff sack al better so it would be a little more protected from debrisvor snow or rain that can get in the main compartment. The staff are amazing and super helpful. Thank you eberlestock for a amazingly great product.
