...which is excellent. Combined it with a vapor 5000 and a dry bag rifle scabbard. Love the modular options. Will be using it for backpacking this summer and hunting this fall. Will likely add a multi-lid to finish my setup.
Would love to see something along the lines of a zip on tomohawk style pack become available for this frame.
This is my 4th eberlestock pack. I have yet to see another company do such a good job at creating products that meets the needs of hunters/shooters/backcountry explorers.
Haven’t used it for elk hunting yet but have taken it out rucking in preparation for some backcountry turkey hunts coming up and wow it’s awesome! Super durable and fits great!
Pack frame appears to be of good quality… only issue being if I waited 30 days I could have saved almost $200 on the frame and vapor pack. Seems like it is just a crazy mark up and I would recommend everyone wait until march if you were to ever order from here so you don’t get ripped off.
Very lightweight and easily customizable.
Recently purchased F1 frame + Batwings + bolt action scabbard and love how well they work. The fit is perfect and I have been winter trekking with the pack loaded down many times. Love the modularity and the fact the frame allows the pack to stand vertical when I take it off. Thanks Eberlestock !
Great fit I'm 5ft 10 inches 175 lbs and got a regular. I added the batwings and dry bag for the 2500 size for now. Looks like I'll have plenty of room for a 3 to 5 day trip!
This pack frame is well beyond my expectations. Super comfy even after loading it down with 40lbs and hiking 4-5mi. Would highly recommend this pack to anyone
All the point of an external frame pack consists in attaching stuff to the frame. And in f 1 there s no access to the frame except for the bottom. I thing a good idea would be to expose the frame in 3points just in case if. Someone like me would want to have more attachment points or use much longer straps. Overall the pack is pretty good
Very durable and extremely customizable, excited to put it to work.
This does what it says it does extremely well. The frame and likely it's advertised attachments are really great. I sent an email to check the compatibility with something like the packs with removable weapon carriers; G1, G2, G3, etc. I didn't hear back so I figured that I would make it work somehow. The zippers are the opposite direction from these packs, so it doesn't work the way I would like it to, even though the spacing lines up perfectly. However.... If you want, you could lash anything to this frame, so a few extra straps later it is still the upgrade that I wanted. Prepare for some extra work if your pack is not "compatible" though.
