The V69 Destroyer is an upgraded version of the modern mountaineering style backpack. Choose the slightly more compact V69 if you need smaller capacity and prefer to go as light as possible. Choose the larger V90 if you simply need to get serious and haul some big loads.

For its scale, this pack is extremely light weight. We've carefully chosen new materials that give the optimum balance between high strength and light weight. Every feature and detail has a purpose, and many of them have multiple purposes.

Includes full rain cover, which stows in a pocket on the bottom of the pack. Compatible with either WXP3L or WX2L hydration bladders (carry up to two bladders, one on each side of pack).

Awesome, feature rich pack!

A super comfortable wearing pack with a nice variety of carry options. Looking forward to putting it to work over the miles. No problem carrying plenty of gear for extended outdoor time in comfort.

The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because the last two lower crossbars, used to adjust the shoulder straps up and down, was sewn more closely than the others making adjustment quite difficult. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Some improvements

The side pocket that are for hydration bladders should be longer. Not pass through pockets like on some of your packs just a long pocket. Makes it more versatile. Especially if you use a axe or a buck saw when camping or hiking. The long waist belt should be an option on all of your packs.

Years of abuse & ....

I have put this bag through some serious years of abuse & I am glad to say it is holding up well. I have been using this a winter mountaineer bag before eberlestock made it a category. So I am glad to see that they agree. You can not go wrong with this bag.
