Hispeed is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Versatile and great storage for the size. It’s used every day!
Well built. Great zippers. Plenty of room. Purchased for airline travel. It will fit my 16” laptop inside its padded case. I wish the compression straps had quick clips.
I have followed Eberlestock for a while now and just haven't had the need to actually pull the trigger on one of their products until recently. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Great craftsmanship and a quality product. It will be getting used here shortly and I will be more than happy to update then. Thank you!
I'll say this is an oversized day pack or with some extra pouches added an undersized 3 day pack. Call it a 2 day pack. For an assault pack/ go bag it's just about perfect. Everyone tries to use a 3 day pack and cram it full but if you are already toting a helmet, plate carrier, battle belt, weapon, and mags you have to save on weight where you can. This pack literally won't let you pack too much, which is what I wanted.
The X41 is perfect for me. A little big for EDC, while at the same time, capable of 3-4 nights of 3 season backpacking in Ohio. I carries a 35lbs load well for 10-12 mile ruck sessions. (I’m really getting into rucking for speed) Also, harness and hip belt are top quality, and easily dialed in to my torso.
