Switchblade

I took this on a month long family vacation through Asia. It had plenty of room to carry daily stuff for the 4 of us. Some days it was pretty heavy but it carried very well. I like the adjustability of the sternum strap a lot, that made a big difference in keeping the shoulder straps in a comfortable position.
My only critique is about the water bottle pouches. If you have the bag packed full, it can be hard to get the water bottles in. I wish the pouches extended a little more and had more volume so that it wasn't fighting against space in the backpack.
The molle on the oustide was nice to use to hang hats on, I also used the hookup kit to add a couple extra straps on the back. That also was nice to keep the main clamshell from opening all the way when we were out and about.

I do love this bag a lot and will be my goto bag for the foreseeable future however, it’s only cause there really isn’t anything else out there. The bag fits fine, has lots of room, however there are a lot of unnecessary pocket area or areas with pockets that are difficult to access once you have your bag loaded. This bag would be great if they went back and looked at its functionality and made appropriate changes to pocket materials, how you access them and add actual pockets that can be used instead of the “lets stitch a pocket here or will add pockets for magazines that no one carries in normal day-to-day.

Great pack and far less 'overt' than what it replaced.
