I've never encountered this type of flaw on Eberlestock gear. Stitching on standard hip belt is bad and of low quality. I would appreciate this to be corrected..

I was really excited to get this belt for my bandit. I'd bought the bandit for a lightweight daypack that i would use often because it's very small. Turns out I can use it for hunting too so I figured I'd get a hip belt for when it's loaded with my bow and saddle kit.
There aren't enough photos of these hip belts on the website, because if I'd known how big it was, I may not have purchased it. It's roughly 5.5 inches tall and it's pretty stiff. This turned my EDC lightweight daypack into a full blown backpack. I'm sure it will be great for saddle hunting, but I will have to take the belt off for bike rides and walking around town.
I'm also a little annoyed how long the straps are, I'm roughly a size 31 waist, I have this thing almost maxed out which leaves about 20 inches of strap hanging off both sides.. One of my favorite features of the bandit is the velcro Eberlestock places on the straps so you can roll and stow them neatly, but they missed these straps..

Please make a minimal hipbelt for the smaller packs for carrying around town. You could cut the materials in half and it would make for a great pack accessory.

Getting old and the back is shot. I used to use a sling pack but the neck loading on that got annoying (different company by the way). The Bandit with the hip belt is perfect for shifting the load on long day hikes with my better half. It locks in solid with velcro. I have the cobalt blue pack and the gray hip belt looks pretty sharp.

I thought it would attach to a pack that I purchased previously but it doesn't. I'm keeping it anyway because I know that whenever I buy a pack it's going to be through Eberlestock. I think I have three of them now and some accessories.I know this is going to work for something I'm going to buy in the future.. As of now nothing beats the Eberlestock quality and service.

Once again Eberlestock has made a great product. I added the hip belt to the Little Trick. It’s a great daypack for a variety of things. Grab it and throw it in the truck to have loaded for emergencies or going to the range or the mall with the wife! The hip belt makes it that much better.

I purchased this belt for my old S27 little trick, very good and comfortable

Just received today and install right away. It was hard to install but once on it aint coming.

I bought this one because it was supposed to be the one that fits my Switchblade back pack. It took over 30 minutes to get it on the pack and I thought I was going to tear out all the stitching. Also, since you don't make a gray one I got the black one because I thought it would go well. The contrast is very stark. I definitely would not recommend this product to go with the Switchblade.

Excellent fit. Much nicer adjustment than the older model hip belt.

I bought this to use with my bandit pack on longer day hikes and so far it’s well worth the money.

The padded hipbelt fits solidly in place with the Switchblade EDC bag. Very comfortable and padding keeps the belt from digging into my back, even with it firmly fastened.

Just what I wanted for my little trick pack, was worth the wait.

Bought this to put on my Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Bandit pack so I can have a waste belt for it. Superior quality and it slides in the pack and fits nice and secure. Another great product from Eberlestock.

This is a robust hip belt. The straps are long enough to wrap around most trees to get it closer to the tree. I saddle hunt and without this “perk” it tends to bunch out from the tree. I’ve added one of Eberlestock’s small pouches, attaching it to the molles, and works great for adding backup releases, windage dust etc..
overall the belt is built very well and works great with the bandit backpack. I would recommend the hip belt and think it’s worth your purchase.

This hip belt really completes my switchblade, I don’t use it for EDC, but hiking or heavier loads it really distributes some of the load onto your hips. I like the Molle webbing for shotgun shells or extra carabiners. Appears to be very well made but everything I’ve ordered from here is.

Great addition to the little brother. Comfortable and rugged but also light weight. Well built like all the rest of Eberlestocks gear. Put 20 miles on it so far with no problems.

Couldn’t wait for eberlestock to come out with a forward assist hip belt. When they did I bought one a switched the belt on my f1 and couldn’t be happier.

This backpack is one of the best purchases i have ever made. Lots of space, easy to carry. Recomend bying the belt also fore more compfort when carrying.
