Bag is perfect for a simple daily clean looking bag. No straps flapping around and perfect for what I use it for which is traveling. I store laptop close shoes and anything for a couple day trip. I have bothe the black and grey and both look good and Eberlestock Quality is always top of the line. This is my 6th Eberlestock pack and have never had an issue

Awesome pack

Typical Eberlestock excellence. Material, zippers, layout... all excellent. However, the shoulder straps attachment to the bag aren't curved like the F1 frame and others to match your traps and shoulders. The straight sewn straps and one-size-fits-most spacing cut into my traps and is not comfortable. This won't get regular use, but for the Black Friday price, my kids will rock it! If your traps aren't fussy like mine, it's a great bag.

I bought this on an impulse, but it has turned out to be a great pack. Feels like an ultralight pack from a weight standpoint. The laptop compartment can hold a decent sized 15” laptop. I LOVE the clamshell opening so it can be laid down and loaded like a duffel bag. Straps are very comfortable and not flimsy. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a magnet or zipper to at least one of the water bottle pockets so it could also be used as a shove-it pocket.

Have eyed the Eberlestock packs for some time. Pulled the trigger on “The Apprentice”. Was worried it would be too small to carry my day to day items. I have been using extremely satisfied with the layout and capacity of the pack. I carry this every day to the fire station for 24 hour shifts. Carries my laptop, books, EDC items, first aid kit, and other items. Great purchase and plan to buy a larger pan for my personal EDC pack.

Received my pack few weeks ago. Had to try it out before posting a review. It’s comfortable, suits my needs as an everyday pack. Just wish it came with sternum straps tho. Would make it a bit more comfortable for when I wear it for extended periods. Otherwise it’s a good pack. Solid.
