The Apprentice is a true everyday backpack, designed to be simple and sleek while maintaining the unmatched durability of all Eberlestock gear. The main compartment features a simple 17" laptop sleeve and full-front opening zipper. You will find a large, zippered accessory pocket on top of the pack and water bottle pockets on either side.

Great pack for everyday

I have 4 of these one for everyday holds my laptop and work stuff. One for short trips and two go bags. One for each vehicle.

Great EDC!

Couldn't rate it higher. Being in the British Military I've used plenty of daypacks, and this is by far the best EDC pack I've had the pleasure of using.

Outstanding bag!

I bought an apprentice and absolutely loved it. So much so that I bought one in every color and one for a buddy. This bag is well built, waterproof, rugged and very comfortable to wear. Highly recommended!

Great backpack

Durable, comfortable and functional. Hiked Volcano National Park and held what I needed and held its shape when I loaded it up. It road on my back and shoulder well. Two things I wish it had were a chest strap and that the openings for the two inside zipper pockets on the flap of the main compartment were larger to allow smoother hand insertion into the pocket.

Great backpack, great quality, great price & very fast shipment !

The backpack is perfect as a small daypack, e.g. for a city trip where you only want to carry some food and a jacket. There is still enough space for a few purchases ;) It can also be folded up very small and space-saving, so that it can also be carried as a backup in (!) normal luggage if you are traveling with a large backpack, for example, but need something small in the city for museum visits etc. that you can also carry with you...
