Description

The Freefall is a versatile, low-drag platform capable of accommodating multi-day excursions with a minimalist kit or day trips with a robust setup. Organize your loadout with a spacious top lid, seven interior pockets, and a water bladder sleeve. Water bottle pockets, compression straps, and hip-belt pockets round out the exterior. Last but not least, a robust, padded hip belt and shoulder harness ensure that comfort is king even under a heavy load.

The Freefall 3000 includes an additional interior partition for ease of separation and organization, making it capable of handling longer trips. The Freefall 2000 is a smaller, slimmed down version for straightforward day trips.

Whether it’s used for mountain trails, a well-stocked go bag, or a robust precision setup, the Freefall is capable of handling it all.

Superior to Osprey

I own about 10 Eberlestock packs and about 15 of the accessory items, all for hunting, range time, or EDC. I also needed a hiking pack so I purchased one from Gregory, Osprey, and Eberlestock’s Freefall 2000. I figure where Gregory and Osprey only focus on hiking that their packs would be better. Not the case. I returned those and kept the Freefall 2000 as my hiking pack - it feels so much better on my back than the competitors and is significantly higher quality.

Great quality, this is going to make my short trips carrying my masssive laptop a kot more pleasant and it doubles as a a day pack when traveling. I also like how non tactical it looks

Excellent medium size pack

At 46 L its a great 1-2+ day pack with plenty of internal storage/internal side pockets. There is about 5-6 inches of height adjustment range for the shoulder straps so it will fit a wide variety of torso lengths. The dual pull forward waist belt is quick and easy and also has plenty of adjustment range. The side straps are long enough for a small air sleep pad or light jacket. Excellent design and manufacturing execution. Eberlestock is fast becoming my pack gear supplier over its nearest competitors.

What took sooooo long!!!!!!!! This is for EVERYONE E-stock

Apparently I've been asleep at the wheel with E-stock. Finally, a reverse-pull/forward pull padded waist belt. Enter the Freefall. I have almost all of the E-stock hunting style packs and have used them over the past 15 years hunting Colorado. Unfortunately, I have on regular occasion resorted to other brand name packs because of the hipbelt. E-stock packs lacking the forward-pull belts are at best tedious. Tightening the belt is haphazard and awkward; I hate it!
The waistbelt is removeable and interchangeable with most all hunting packs offered by E-stock. It's a bit of a hassle, but it can be done fairly quickly.
This FORWARD-PULL WAISTBELT needs to be offered as an exclusive item with and without pockets for all existing E-stock hunting/EDC packs; you will make a million $$$$$$.
The Freefall pack.....better than the Switchblade for day hunts. It is rid of the laptop pockets, which opens it up for easier day hunt organization. Maybe some molle grids on the sides and face would be helpful.
E-STOCK.....LISTEN TO ME ABOUT THE WAIST BELT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the only thing I have ever had a gripe about your packs....NO REVERSE-PULL
