Fantastic backpack.

This bag is terrific and really well made. It has room for everything I need to take with me. The compartments are nicely organized. Also it takes Velcro and Molle patches to further organize things.

I had been eying this pack for a while, and wanted a black one. But when insaw them discounted, i pounced on the gray one, and have no regrets.

Its spacious wothout being too large, has tons of pockets to help keep things organized. I really like the top pouch for easy/quick access items—not quite sure why they chose to put magazine pouches there though. The main compartment has plenty of room for my typicals. Overall, seems like a solid pack thats comfortable to wear, and feels solidly constructed. I can’t comment on durability or longevity, but i have high hopes for it.

I already have it packed up for a trip I’m taking to Japan in two days, and will update this review after the trip if my opinion changes in any way.

I use this bag every single day. I've used it as a diaper bag for day trips. I use it for outdoor work. I use it for cross country trips. I use it for a day bag for outdoor adventures like hunting, hiking, range day, etc. I fit a Glock 19X with flashlight and red dot in a holster w/ a tourniquet in a tourniquet holder in the back, conceal carry pocket. Great all around bag. I will probably upgrade to the one that's a little bigger for a diaper bag though...

This pack is everything it purports to be. I use it for work, travel, and anything that requires a heavy use bag.

I was looking for a discreet option to transport a very short SBR. This works pretty well for what I was going for. I wish the scabbard was just an inch deeper. My rifle fits but has to be canted. I am cutting it close. Still maintains functionality as a backpack. Lot’s of room in the main compartment in addition to the top and side pouches. All super accessible. My iPad fits in the laptop pouch with my rifle in the bag. The MOLLE inside the pack is really thin so you won’t be able to use the whole panel unless you modify your pouches or use a malice type clip. Rifle is 19 3/4” collapsed for reference. The magnetic CCW pouch is also super convenient. Fits a holstered Glock 43x no problem. Easy enough to toss it in there when I’m at the office or whenever it makes sense.

It’s often said that “A Jack of all trades is a master of none.” The Switchblade blows that mold to pieces. It is a go to pack for day trips, overnighters, or just a quick trip to the gym. The thoughtfulness and planning is phenomenal; space where you need it and comfort where you want it. I can easily pack clothes, food, strap a tent and sleeping bag and be comfortable for one or two nights. Now, what it’s not: it’s not is a multi-day gear-heavy hauler. If I were hiking for a week in the back country, this is not the pack I’d use. Currently using the pack as my daily pack for day trips in the Alps.
