I purchased this for my son in the Army. Quality and features are top notch! My son loves it, his new rucking bag. Purchased the Warhammer for him and some accessories.
Thank you!
Little Brother
Great pack overall, having a customizable pack for different hunts was my main goal. This pack has full filled it’s purpose. Structure and quality is on point. Loving Elberlestock products!
I have not used the little brother pack yet, but it looks and feels like just what i wanted. The shipping was a little slow, but could just be the time of year! Overall i'm happy with my purchase.
Getting ready for some trips, hunts and hikes. This pack will do it all
Great bag. Took it on my elk hunt and used is as a day pack and a meat hauler along with F1 Mainframe. Good on it's own and when integrated with the F1/
It's hard to find an affordable bag that has a large main compartment with pockets inside it. Most bags that offer any organization in a large main compartment are expensive and seldom seem worth it or lack easy access to the entire main compartment. The entire front of the bag opens, offering easy access to the pockets at the bottom of the main compartment as well as any unsecured items that may have shifted to the bottom. The zipper that's supposed to allow for a rifle scabbard also doubles for storage of a thin metal detector (like a CEIA if anyone's interested) without compromising space in the main compartment. This is my second Eberlestock bag, I have the X2, and I haven't been disappointed with the comfort of the fit/wear with either of them. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for organization in a chaotic packing list.
This is a great pack. I bought this pack to augment my Warhammer pack for this years hunting season. I still have some arrangements to settle on but this pack will most likely stay at base camp and the Warhammer will go with me from there due to it’s carrying capacity. Not surprisingly, the two packs marry up beautifully, almost as if they were designed to. The Warhammer is 2 years old and shows almost no signs of wear (the bottom of the frame does show some wear where it rests on the floor) but panels, zippers, straps, and clips all seem to be in great shape.
Back to the Little Brother, it’s highly modifiable with all the Molly webbing but I find that I want more compartmentalization on the inside. I will be purchasing some pouches that are intended for the outside to accomplish this but that’s an added expense and I’m mildly concerned about the added weight. Once I’ve set this pack up the way I want it, it will become my EDC pack and will be reconfigured for special occasions.
This replaced my old Blackhawk 3 day assault pack (our supply just ordered them, https://store.armyproperty.com/products/blackhawk-3-day-assault-back-pack-od-green-603d00od-nsn-8465-01-517-7044.html which I still had. those were trekked through the mountains in assramistan the zipper had eventually ripped. This is obviously much better gear than those were.
Its a nice pack but a few things drop this out of my line up. Definitely not a good 3day pack, maybe a light overnighter. The weight cutting thin molle don't hold securely. The bottom molle panel is small. The pocket behind the front laser cut molle field intrudes into the pack. The small molleon the interior is again the thin stuff. It just doesn't hold a pouch as securely as full molle.
