The G1 Little Brother pack is sold as part of our J79 Skycrane II system, and is a very popular stand-alone "3-day" pack. As part of the EMOD system, it works well with our J51 Warhammer, F1 Mainframe, or M1 Carrier packs. It features an expansion tunnel that allows you to insert any of our side scabbards (sold separately). With our A4SS Tactical Weapon Carrier installed, the pack functions much like our G3M Phantom. The pack features both top-loading and full-front panel loading. MOLLE/PALS webbing fills all useful spaces inside and out. There are two hydration sleeves on interior back wall sized for our WXP3L 3-liter bladders. A radio rack on back wall holds PRC-117 class military radios.
The G1 comes with a harness, and a HBSS Hip belt accessory can be added. To add structure to the G1, add either an AGIF or AG2S frame, which fits inside the scabbard tunnel (if you're carrying a scabbard in the tunnel, your weapon becomes the frame structure).

How To Properly Fit And Adjust Your Pack
G1 Little Brother Pack
A great pack for EDC and light hunting. Very happy with my purchase, great quality and value.
I purchased the skycrane 2 in black and the G1 little brother in the color black is AMAZING. As well as exclusive to the skycrane only. Great bag.
So far I’ve used the G1 for travel around the world. Leaving the top pouch empty, the G1 makes a good carry-on bag. The squared off configuration and dual top & front access let me make max use of the volume. I recommend the Endo frame and hip belt because though the main compartment looks small, if you pack efficiently you can easily load 20kg into it.
The mil green and especially the coyote brown colors lend themselves to a huge variety of add-on and organizer pouches. I added pouches in front that make mine like an F3 FAC Track and added large removable side pouches that unbuckle. Altogether they increase capacity by about half.
My suggestions for improvement are: please add another row of PALS webbing up top on the sides (I sewed them on so I could add 2 pouches each side), a couple more cm of depth to accommodate larger sleeping bags, and a set of long zippers in the back for zipping the G1 it to the rear zippers of the J51 Warhammer which I also have. I want to zip BOTH my G1 and spike camp duffel into my J51 rather than just strap the G1 in behind the duffel and pray it doesn’t affect the balance and load points by moving around.
Been using this bag for 6 years and I love it. A true 3 day assault pack that can also be used for overnight ops, I can pack sleeping bag, large radio (size of 3-4 bricks), large batteries, rain gear, jet boil, food and water. At 6’1” this bag, with or without the internal aluminum frame, is also extremely comfortable on me with body armor. The three antenna ports on the top side of the bag are well placed and sized. Only complaint is that I have broken the frame conducting parachute ops but it took 10 jumps before it broke. With a frame cost of only $20 I’d say that’s a small price to pay for such a great bag. Highly recommended.
