I've only had the pack a couple weeks but I loaded it up with 3 10 lb bags of flour wrapped in a trash bag and humped it up and down some 25 percent slopes in the woods behind my house. The vertically adjustable harness is great, I've a fairly long torso and that is an essential feature. I'm certainly not a FAC and don't know the first thing about that profession, but the layout and features will make this a good choice for overnight archery elk pursuits here in the Siskiyous. Not an ultralight pack, rather its robust and well made. I've no doubt it will stand up well in thick difficult terrain. Well done Eberlestock
I love this pack, it has a ton of storage and it super comfortable. Took it bear hunting last weekend in the Blues couldn’t find any complaints.
I’m getting another one soon.
The pack is big enough to fit everything I need and then some for a 2 day prs match. Super high quality and durable. Very comfortable even with a heavy load. Extremely pleased with this pack.
I’ve owned a lot of tactical / mil spec gear in my time. The FacTrac is by far the best I’ve seen in terms of build quality and design. Well done Eberlestock!
Well designed, rugged, built to last lifetime or more. This is my 3rd Eberlestock pack. Very High quality, wears well, and adjustable. Zero failure with this pack.
Great pack
This is my first pack from Eberlestock, but it won’t be my last. This pack is very well made and has plenty of room and will work great for my needs. It will be used as an all around pack for camping and hunting. When I received my pack in the mail, it did not have the rain cover that it was supposed to come with. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful and sent out a rain cover which I received in a few days.
Quality pack and great customer service!
It is a perfect pack
For context, my primary usage of this bag has been in deployed overseas service & home hiking.
I heartily recommend this bag for any use case. I am an RTO within a Light Infantry unit - this bag has been a godsend. It is extremely comfortable, innovative with regards to organization, and beyond well built. It can accommodate enough supplies for 7-10 days in the field if you pack light appropriately and are facing temperate weather. It fits well over USGI Body Armor, but I cannot personally attest to its compatibility with aftermarket plate carriers and the like.
For hiking purposes, this bag is excellent. It is by no means ultralight, but if you don't mind the extra ounces, you will feel very comfortable for extended hikes with the bag. If additional space is necessary, Eberlestock's saddle bags are excellent.
During my deployment, I participated in a 92.6 mile ruck challenge over the course of nine days. This was my bag of choice for that challenge - suffice to say, for me, it was worth every penny.
