Seems well thought out, well made and should last a lifetime. Much in the tradition of WW II heavy canvas bags - you could not wear them out.
Will end up carrying a collegiate study abroad wardrobe. Perfect and should take all the abuse I am sure it will receive!
A giant bag with plenty of room and lots of pockets. I highly recommend this bag.
I white tail hunt in North Texas, Pheasant Hunt in Kansas, Western Mule Deer hunt in the west and I have some land that borders public land where I can hunt on both. I am in constant need of storage and easy to access storage. First off, this thing is massive, but it is quality. The zippers work great and the 4-5” storage on the bottom works great too. I have put my AR in there and my bow in there and both were protected even when I had a full load of heavy stuff in the top main compartment. The wheels are actually really good on this sucker and with all the handles it is easy to load in a pickup. I’ve only had it a couple weeks now but I took it white tail hunting for a 5 day trip for bow, rifle hunting. I could put my AR on the top and my bow in the bottom. I also have a muzzle loader I could break down and store easily if I wanted too. I haven’t tried to fit my deer rifle (.270 Savage axis) in there yet. I love the dividers and the extra pockets on the outside. I would suggest putting heavier things in the main compartment or on the back side pockets. I put magazines and batteries on the front outside pockets and it was harder to open and balance and zip up, but that’s an easy fix. So far I love this thing. The biggest issue is having a place to store it home! Haha! Lastly, the rain cover is awesome for this. We campin in a tiny trailer or tent and I just kept this sucker outside at night with the rain cover over it and kept all my stuff dry every night. It’s very easy to take on and off. I hope to have this for years to come!
This was a little bigger than I expected but it has everything you need for space. Took it on a 6 day hunt right after I got it and it held everything I needed. The dividers are nice to split up your gear and the bottom compartment can be used for really anything you want.
