Add Apsk Chest Mount Kit

The A2MP has ten pockets. But it's not about the pockets... It's just an exceptionally useful and versatile piece of gear. The MultiPack is a padded, compact, multi-pocket accessory pouch with many potential uses. With Eberlestock’s Padlock attachment system built in, it can be mounted to a Padlock/PALS/MOLLE mounting panel on your backpack.  A nice feature of this system is that you can mount it to just about anything: run your pants belt through it and use it as a hip pack, or use our optional APSK Pouch Chest Mount Kit, and wear it as a chest pack. It's a perfect fit for most full-sized binoculars, and works well for other small sundries, and for items such as full-size digital cameras.

A2MP Accessory Pouch

So far it fits my needs. After unpacking and opening the main compartment, I immediately could tell how great the quality is. Had plenty of storage for my needs and it’s a great accessory to my hunting setup. I am using this product as a storage compartment for my saddle hunting tether/rappel line. I can fit 35’ of Sterling C-IV 9mm rope, Madrock safeguard rappel device, 40’ of dynaGLIDE, carabiners, and some other gear that I use while hunting. I highly recommend this product.

Versatile chest pack

I bought this to potentially replace the scout bino chest pack, which lacked a place for a rangefinder, and i find the nosegunner just too big. As it's the dead of winter this one won't see use for a while, but based on first impressions and test-fitting a few items I expect it will be a great fishing pack, and a decent bino/accessory chest pack for big game and turkey hunting.

The good:
1. Lots of organizational options, including the secure zip compartment to keep your wallet out of the river when you go to change flies. Should fit everything I need for fishing, and better organization than some competing products I've used. Also good for game calls.
2. The side pockets are just right for handgun ammunition (though fast) - including full-size 10mm/.45 acp double-stack mags (Glock 20/21), .38/.357 speed-loader or 2+ speed strips, or anything of similar shape (like a larger multi-tool) or smaller.
3. Unexpectedly (didn't consider until I received it), they'll also fit a J-frame or a Glock 26 grip partway forward in a modified cross-draw configuration in a pinch, but not a fast draw as the lid buckle is essential for retention. Too long for a Glock 19/23 unless one extends the strap (only slightly), but that size grip would stick out like crazy anyway - better of fitting that inside. Suboptimal but not terrible place to park a handgun short term if you're swapping from a pack-mounted holster and you shed your pack, or a belt holster that would end up under your waders. Better retention than slipping into the rear sleeve of a bino pack.
4. Fits 8x42 Nikon binos with room to spare.

Potential improvements:
1. Side pockets are barely big enough for a largish rangefinder, and definitely not a grenade for your next trip to the Capitol. Leopold TBR1200 is a tight squeeze, and not very quiet due to the cordura interior, or low-motion to get out and particularly back in. A couple more millimeters is all it would take, and a softer lining.
2. As a bino pack it could probably be slightly narrower across the chest (basically turning it into a scout bino pack but with more effective place for a rangefinder).
3. The main zipper is pretty stiff / hangs up around the corners.
4. The interior zipper needs a paracord tab not metal, as its noisy when you open the pack to get binos in/out.
5. All that organization and durability comes at a price - weight.
6. For more weight, some MOLLE on the front or bottom could come in handy.
