Love that it has built in straps, the compartment is spacious, and the side pockets work great. I loaded it up with a tripod on one side, spotting scope on the other, and put a fold-up chair inside and had a nice hike / glassing afternoon.
Very light weight great for single day or multi day hunts. Most importantly you have what you need for the hunt and what you need for the kill a great pack.
Recently replaced the Batwings on my long Mainframe with the Vapor 2500. The fit and size are great. Side pouches accommodate spotting scope and tripod just fine. However, the 2 internal pockets are terribly too small to place any reasonable sized water bladders within. I can make the pack work, but it could have been perfect with the addition of a top lid pocket and properly sized internal pockets. Hopefully, that can be fixed with a revised model.
Paired with the tall mainframe and the molle panel, great for hiking, got a dodgy back from an old injury, and the mainframe suits me great. The vapour rides well on it and is big enough for 4 to 7 days in the wild
The bag is nice. However the way they set it up is almost like they don't get input from customers or people that actually use the product. On the inside of the bag they have two pockets one on either side which is nice for smaller stuff, however they say you can put a water system in it, lol my 9 year daughter carries more water than that when we hike. I would prefer it have a additional pouch on the very back so my bag doesn't feel lopsided with my main weight on one side. My way around this is I use my gun pouch for my water. Now this will be a problem when I actually need to put my gun away to pack out. At which point I am sure I will just dump my water out and deal with it. Also the pockets have no way to close so if you set the bag down and it tips over guess what now everything in the pockets are now in the main compartment, once again stupid design. Overall I do like the size I have the bat wings as well but they just don't have enough room if I am on a long hike this is where this bag comes in.
