      ULTRALIGHT SETUPS

      • Choose the Vapor™ 25005000, or 7500 for any adventure with ultralight, multi-day performance.

      • Use 2 Batwings when you plan to go in light and come out heavy. Stay quick, light, and mobile with the Batwings. They are intuitive to use and make packing out meat simple.

      MID-RANGE SETUPS

      • Pair the Super Spike Duffel™ or the Zip-In Dry Bag with Batwings for a 2-4 day hunt. Pack all of your gear into the backcountry and when you reach camp and drop your gear, unzip the duffel or dry bag and hunt in your ultralight Batwing setup.

      • If you like the organization and function of a backpack, the new Vapor 5000 is the ideal choice for a 2-5 day trip. This pack allows for top-loading or front-loading access and then can separate from the Mainframe for game bag carriage when it’s time for some heavy lifting.

      EXPEDITIONARY SETUPS

      • For a 5-10 day hunt, use the new Vapor 7500. Pack all of your gear into the backcountry and when you reach camp and drop off your kit, the Vapor series will collapse neatly against your F1 Mainframe so you can day hunt out of your camp.

      Great Fitting Back

Just got the mainframe with the Vapor 7500. Very satisfied with the quality and functionality of the whole system. Did a 15 mile overnighter loaded with about 60 lbs of gear for myself and my kids and the frame held the weight beautifully. Very comfortable and stable.

      Solid pack

Bought the F1 mainframe with 2 batwings as a base for a daypack/meat hauler. Very comfortable and rock solid even under a heavy load. Tons of versatility. Only downside I’ve noticed is that there is a loop to hook the zipper on one side and not the other, noticed the zipper coming down on the one side after stuffing items behind the batwing a few times. Easy fix and can rig your own d ring as a fix but would have been nice if it came set up already.

      Needs longer Straps

A great gear and appears to be robust, however, it needed a little bit of exposure to actual field use ie bushcraft, in order to have a thorough and honest review. But for now it could really get a little bit of longer straps to really strap items that were shown in the prom videos.

      Pleasantly surprised

I decided I was going to start pack in hunting on public land as an alternative to my standard lease hunting I’m used to. Buddies told me the first thing I need is a good pack. After some research, I settled on the Eberlestock F1 Mainframe. I outfitted mine with two batwing packs and am absolutely impressed with the construction. The M1 Mainframe allows for many different pack configurations and I can’t wait to add to mine. I highly recommend this pack.

awesome / has flaws / stil has potential

so i have had the F1 for several weeks.

been using it as EDC catch all for all my daily gear...along w/also trying to cram anything I can get to fit in current configuration i have found to be most useful for daily use.

hard daily use dragging to sawmill in SE/Ark every day...thrown on the ground / on the floor...carried in front seat of truck & goes everywhere I go...I'm intentionally hard on it

first 2 days of use the coating was peeling on bottom w/just my thumbnail scraping off...had I continued I'm confident i could completely flake off the entire thing w/just my thumb...it's aluminum so it's not gonna hurt to have exposed metal...but the coating is a mark against the frame

the strap / hook up system i'm not completely crazy about...you absolutely have to roll up excess strap or it will slip...or strap at angles that will bind the strap better.

would really really like to be able to have access to frame...feels like missed opportunity / potential to only be able to use hook up points & not be able to put a zip tie or bungee around actual frame

other than just minor complaints the frame is stellar & has far more untapped potential that what i have been using it for...looking forward to many kayak / backpacking trips as well as many more days as daily carry.

so here is a personal request to eberlestock...I affixed a old NIKE drawstring back pack w/grommet corners...when empty weighs nothing and lays flat against frame...but when zip tied to frame makes for an incredibly useful pouch...then w/the laser cut panel you can secure all bigger things...I can also reach over into pouch while driving or parked...reach into pouch & fish out anything I need w/out having to zip/unzip a anything

but a draw string type pouch made out of same kind of material as laser cut panel would be incredible...ability to un hook your panel pouch w/all your smaller items throw it on & go...
