A rain cover is a must have whether on a day hike, multi-day CO elk or an all day treestand sit for WV whitetail. I use my packs year around for hunting and fishing. Rain covers are perfect to keep everything dry on those high country hunts without sacrificing accessibility. They are perfect when throwing the pack in the SXS and keeping dust from covering all your gear too. When its not needed they take up little space and weigh nothing.

I love it, the rain cover is easy to put around the bag, I have the vapor series 2400 5500 and 7500, it doesn't fit the 7500. But it dies fit the 5500 really well. The snaps help make sure it doesn't get pulled off while going through branches. I also put it on the pack when I go camping with a bivy.

I HAVE'NT USED THE COVER AS OF YET BUT IN THREE DAYS I HEAD TO OREGON FOR A ELK HUNT WHERE I'M SURE THE RAIN COVER WILL BE USED. I WILL SAY THAT I RECEIVED THE COVER WITHIN THREE DAYS OF ORDERING AND IT CAME WITH A HANDY LITTLE NET POUCH TO STORE THE COVER IN.

I recently purchased a vapor 5000 series pack and a rain cover. I put it them both too the test on a wet non stop rainy Blacktail deer hunt last Sunday. It literally rained from sunrise to sunset The reversible cover kept the pack completely dry. The rain cover weighs nothing and is a necessity to store in your pack while on your next adventure.

Cover worked great. Covered pack and gun in scabbard or without gun no problem. Everything stayed dy in downpour. Would recommend

While I didn’t have to use this on my most recent hunt it was nice to have. Packs small, fits well, and I’m sure would help keep the pack and its contents dry.
