Atlas Duffel

I ordered the Eberlestock Atlas Duffel to replace 2 conventional carry-on luggage pieces. While not airline approved as carry on, it is an exceptional piece of gear. We typically travel in our personal vehicle and appreciate eliminating an extra piece of luggage. Anyway that’s the story I told my wife and I’m sticking to it. This duffel will get more appropriate use as my outdoor gear bag as the hunting season approaches.

I like the duffle. My Mainframe backpack just fits, which is why I ordered the Atlas…and the free Bando was a nice touch but the box it was in was not heavy enough to withstand UPS. It arrived with a “UPS tape job”. It obviously was opened.
At least someone got a free Brando bag.

Carries all my ready gear, handles and wheels make it easy to get to a vehicle.

Exactly what I was looking for. Big enough to get my back pack and all of my gear into, but small enough the airlines don’t care

Bought the Atlas for my son’s range gear. Now it is in one place and easy to transport! I’m in Savannah and he’s in Philly so having all his gear and clothing in there together makes air travel more streamlined. Quality is obviously there as with all our Eberlestock backs. Looking forward to the new Executive Brief to go with our rolling duffles. Thanks Eberlestock

I bought this to use for military trips where taking a lot of gear is crucial. I like the bottom container as it allows me to separate dirty boots and clothes after the trip. Held everything I needed it to and allowed me to fly with my gear which is important. The reason I went for this over the Hercules was its ability to fly, and the rolling-extendable handle.

I was worried when it arrived, thinking it would not be large enough and I should have gone with the Hercules. Once I started packing it, I was amazed at how much it held and the outside pouches held and added to the overall packability of the bag. The bottom zippered area is perfect - held pair of boots, 3 ACU tops, 3 pairs ACU pants comfortably with room for extra stuff. Really pleased with this purchase.
