Nice bag. I'd buy or recommend the Fac Track to a friend. I'd give it 420/69 stars
After trying to use some of my old military issued bags with Mystery Ranch bags included in that mix for my bug out bag update I found that I was unhappy with every single bag. A controller buddy of mine said I should try a Fac trac. He didn't have a spare to hook me up with so I ordered one. It's absolutely perfect. Unfortunately I may now have to order one for the wife because the next best option is one the Mystery Ranch bags. After putting my new Fac Trac on with my load out she said she wants one now or I'm using the Mystery Ranch. 😟😟😟
I am a ham radio operator that does SOTA activations and this pack works perfectly between the radio holder in the back of the bag to the extra pockets on the outside of the bag for extra equipment/ camp gear I feel like it was made for me!
After using the Mystery Ranch 3DAP for an extended amount of time, I wanted to explore a similar options that would provide me with carry capacity, yet more organization. Come the FAC track. First impression, extremely comfortable to wear due to the heavily padded yoke harness and hip belt. The admin pocket allow me to keep things organized, which is an upgrade from the 3DAP. The long body allows me to organize clothing, gear, and mission essential items. Being able to access from the top for quick grab items or opening up the whole bag to look for other stuff really expand the capacity of this bag. One gribe is I wish the side pockets would come with zippers instead of being left opened.
This pack has been the right fit for two - three-day missions. I have used it for about a month now and have had no issues with it. Once I got the sizing correct there have been no pinch points in the harness whatsoever. I highly recommend this pack to anyone needing a medium ruck for both urban and field ops. The size makes it just right for quick access into and out of vehicles as well as sustainable enough for missions away from the tight urban quarters. My only recommendation would be to get some form of side sustainment pouch if you need it for gear in the field.
Love this pack. The quality is awesome and should be for the price lol. It’s a very comfortable fit for me. I’m a little shy of 6’00 and haven’t had to adjust the pack. The only draw back to the pack is the lack of water bladder storage. The description says it has 5 pockets for a bladder but only if your bladder holds 8 oz. I bought two Condor H2O water bottle pouches and attached it to the pack. Since the pack is covered with molle this was not an issue and I’m happy with my purchase and plan to buy more from Eberlestock.
I own many Eberlestock packs and accessories. I travel a lot for work and only use Eberlestock packs for business travel. The FAC was an upgrade for my little brother and I love it…as well as all my other Eberlestock equipment
Been waiting awhile to get one of these. Everything is top quality. Hip belt and frame combine to make load carrying very comfortable. Been using it two to three times a week since it arrived. Many times with more weight than I probably should be stuffing in it. Have two small water bladders in each of the outside envelop pockets, no issues !
If you’re looking for an over achiever day pack this is it !
Great pack!!! The size, all the pockets, carries everything that you needed and of course the Eberlestock workmanship.
need a sherpa now. NO, love my pack….carries everything needed and some stuff i don’t. highly recommend.
