The multilid cannot functionally mount to any of the mainframe packs. At best it is loose. It was not designed to fasten securely.
It does not attach well at all I had to come up with my own attachment system so it didn’t bounce around. Also could be half again as big
Bought the pack for my hunting/biking pack. Not to big and doesn't weight me down when I'm riding trails scouting. Great quality!
MultiLid
Very flexible to use in many ways. On a recent hunting/sightseeing trip I could use the attached strap as a stand alone pack for hiking. Then fold those inside the holders and attach it as a lid on my pack for easy access to frequently needed items. This is now definitely part of my kit.
Perfect pack for my successful day in the Turkey woods. It carried first aid and clot kit, sitting pad, bottled water, knife, lunch, flash light, and a bit more. For the hike out in the noon sun, the multi lid has two straps that strapped the layers from the cold morning.
Probably one of my favorite Eberlestock accessories. As with all Eberlestock products this is high quality. Stand alone is great and great ad on to your pack
Love I can bring this thing disc golfing with sad to see it discontinued
My first stuff on my first hand!
I really like the capabilities of the multi lid top... Its covering 2 batwings and the scabbard set up on F1 frame... there's enough strap flexibility (length) to allow room for rifle to pass thru forward of lid covering frame bags. This top bag is well compartmentalized and balanced. When in rough terrain this top-lid flops around some. Theres a pretty simple way to fix that with some tie down lashing though. It was a good addition to my packing system.
