Perfect pack for carrying a larger bolt gun. Love the side pockets for shooting mats and a tripod. Like the female Velcro on the interior pocket for SOE gear mesh pockets and other male Velcro organizers.

When I was shopping for a bag, it was between the Skiligear Ghost and the Eberlestock Spectre. I wanted rapid deployment capability and sufficient storage capacity. I chose the Spectre because of the containment and protection of the weapon system. Once I got my hands on the bag, I was impressed. Very well thought out storage and the scabbard has enough real estate to accommodate any of my weapon systems and my full size tripod. This is a huge bonus as my tripod is large and not well suited to strapping to the side of the bag. The scabbard works equally well with folding or fixed stocks. There’s a slick retention strap to secure the rifle, and for my application, the tripod. Access to the rifle storage is via full length zippers on both sides of the bag. This gives you many options for how you go about retrieving the rifle when you get to a location. If you’re looking for a secure weapon carry capable bag, the Spectre is hard to beat.

I’m not so sure quality is a good enough word to use for this pack. I mean it’s 99% perfect and appears to be indestructible so calling it a “quality bag“ does it an injustice.
I was looking for a bag to take to the range for the days I was going to take just one item. I originally purchased the X1 Euro but was a little disgruntled to find none of my AR platforms would fit. And then… The clouds cleared, the shys opened and a light shown down from heaven and the Spectre was created. After 63 years on this planet I can finally say America invented something worthwhile and to talk about.
Solid zippers for the rifle compartment that are not going to bind up if you get dirt or sand in them. The Spring loaded buckles inside that compartment and pressure release tab to lengthen/shorten are genius… Absolute genius. Whenever you purchase a pack you can always find a few things that you would do differently or you’d like to see on them. On the Spectre I found two but one hasn’t been invented yet. I think it’s time for you guys to invent laser cut Molle Velcro for the rifle compartment. So then the only one thing that I would change, and I can’t understand why they didn’t do it is change the two side carry handles to a padded one like you did on the top of the bag.
Other than that one item, this bag is perfect.
In fact, this bag is so perfect, Eberlestock managed to even make the buckles and pulls in beef flavor because my Great Dane puppy loves them. I lost one of each before I ever actually got a chance to use the bag, no worries mate, they make/sell spares lol! I replaced the pull, getting ready to order the buckle.

I have yet to use it but it definitely looks like it will do the job of carrying a 240 or .50cal. Very excited to tey it out her soon. Very well made and seams bery durable.

I dont normally write reviews im more of the buy try and sell if not satisfied type. BUT my god guys you have exceeded my expectations on this pack in every way. Upgrading from the gunslinger 2 with the spectre and every shortfall with the gunslinger has been addressed with this pack. From the comfort, omg the comfort, on this pack with a 20lbs+ rifle and gear is top tier most comfortable rifle pack ever. To the divided hydration pocket now singular big hydration bladder pocket (thank god) to the WIDE squared bottom scabbard and zippered sides im in awe i cant find a single flaw. Inserting my cadex defense kraken with wilcox raptar mounted top of scope used to be a pain on the narrow gunslinger and pointed scabbard but no more. Inserting the rifle FOLDED so its twice as THICK and just as WIDE as before is something i could never do with any other pack in the market but the spectre has achieved it and achieved it at a level where its EASY no struggling at all. Im also happy to see the pack has been more streamlined no flap like the gunslinger had. Overall worth every penny, highly recommend if your on the fence, you wont be disappointed.

I've been a sniper for over 5 years and this gun bag has changed the game for me. Recently purchased i have been through different training events/ranges and truly tested it limit to what it can do. Not only is able to hold all of my mission essential items, it keeps everything perfectly placed and organized which in a pinch matters. Movement with muzzle oriented up has taken the pain of maneuvering through the jungle or dense forests and made my life on the job way easier. Working with this company was a great experience they are truly patriotic and made me and my team feel like a valued customer and wanted honest critical feedback when we had properly tested the equipment. I am by no means a gear junkie and this bag was slightly above what I wanted to originally spend but i can say now without a doubt that it was worth every penny. Thank you Eberlestock for how exceptionally helpful you were with getting us the right bag. 10 out of 10 would recommend. One Shot One Kill.

I purchased this pack for 2-gun and gas gun competitions. My 16” AR-15 fits perfect with the Scopemate on the optic so I do not have to take it off. The Spectre has enough internal storage to fit everything I need for the matches. I put an Esstac double AR-15/handgun mag pouch on each side of the belt where the molle sections are so I can have 4 AR-15 and 4 Glock magazines stored on the outside. I also put the Eberlestock shooting rest on top. The only thing I’m waiting to see if they will come out with is a scabbard cover. That will make this pack complete.
