Well made, why do buckles not match?
Seems to be well made and designed but the buckles do not match. Getting a tailor to modify.

should just come in with the bolt action scabbard, but whatever. it works.

Scabbard-protective but not convenient
The scabbard was highly padded, but did not fit my 7mm rifle/scope very well. It extended well below the F1 pack and the cover did not buckle down without compressing against the scabbard. It was not possible to remove my gun without totally removing my pack- an almost unavoidable component with the scabbard that reduced the use only when hiking.

Scabbard cover?
Seems like a poor design to me. The buckles weren’t the same as on scabbard but Eberlestock sent new buckles right away. The buckles on the scabbard are so close to the top the cover barely covers or stays on. I use it but it’s not a great setup. Everything else I have got from Eberlestock is top notch!! Service is great too!!

Seems a bit too small
Odd fit. It seems to small unless it’s not meant to cover the scope in which case you would have to use the sleeve but then the clips don’t line up great.

Exceptional Quality
The scabbard definitely met my expectations. Great quality as usual from Eberlestock!
If I were to recommend one improvement it would be that they incorporate a standard molle field down the full length of one or both sides. What's there is usable, but a full field would make it perfect.
