Great, quality jacket. Haven’t field tested it yet but the fit is great.

The Seven Devils Rain Shell does exactly what you need a rain jacket to do: it keeps wind and water out, reliably. In steady rain and gusty conditions it holds up well, and the cut is comfortable enough to layer underneath without feeling bulky. The hood offers solid coverage, and the overall build feels durable for rough weather and rough use.

That said, it isn’t a quiet jacket. The fabric has that crinkly, swishy sound that’s noticeable when you’re moving. For general hiking or everyday foul-weather wear, that’s a minor trade-off for the protection you get. But for hunting, that noise matters.

I personally choose Eberlestock products for hunting because I want to move quietly. When you’re still-hunting, stalking, or drawing close in calm woods, stealth is everything—and the Seven Devils’ noise can work against you in those moments.

Bottom line: Excellent wind and rain protection, good durability and comfort, but not the best choice when silence is a priority. Great for bad-weather scouting or camp use; for actual hunts where quiet movement is key, I’d reach for another product.

Absolutely best rain coat out there (afaik anyway). I own 3 of them. Keep 1 in my truck just in case.

Fit was great! I was a little concerned about sizing after reading reviews, but it wasn't an issue. Even though it's made of rain shell material it's more quiet than I thought also. Pants fit really well on size L also. True Eberlestock quality!
