The Freefall is excellent. 3000 size suits my needs. It lacks the internal organization of other packs, but isn’t a big issue. This replaced a Big Trick as a go bag, because the Big Trick was not a deep enough pack (front to back). Fits an 11.5” AR with RC3 attached and LAW folder folded.

Feels great so far so good comfy as can be, not Berry compliant that’s the only thing I’d change about it.

Ive used a standard large rucksack for years and Ive used a few backpacking packs. This is a good in-between, I find the freefall is as rugged as a ruck if not more so, and way more organized and accessible than most packs on the market. Its tricky to figure out how to attach items on the outside of the pack, but other than that it's a durable and decent for rucking, camping, backpacking. I haven't used it for traveling but Ill see how it goes.

Absolutely love this pack. Got the 2000 and use it as my everyday bag, range bag, 1-2 day field pack. It’s about the size of a medium ruck. The stitched pockets on the hip belt are very convenient and the padding feels like a memory foam mattress. Barely feel like I’m carrying anything.

Lightweight pack with alot of storage and comfort.

I don’t have much experience with backpacking but this is a really nice and comfortable pack. Eberlestock for life now!
