I like the way it is laid out with pockets
Good day pack. Could use a few more pockets. Overall I like it
Sorry know it will work but I have not used it yet.
Pack fits and rides well. Watch the video on adjusting the strap location. Plenty of room for a day hunt and a couple if you are a minimalist.
I also ordered additional storage which makes it even better. Only downer is the water bladder. Old style with no removable drink tube and the end cap is too large to first through the “cut” in the top of the pack for it to pass through.
Fits my hunting trips out west. They are typically long, extended days with return to base. It took a while and several packs to get here but glad to be onboard.
This pack is solid. Love the design, fits shotgun or rifle with scope nicely with minimal movement. Plenty of room for necessities!
I purchased this pack for a deer hunting day pack but since it's not deer season I've tried it out on several trout fishing hikes. My two rods fit perfectly in the gun sleeve taken down and enough gear for a full day's fishing. I'm excited to use it for hunting especially when I have to drag a deer and free up a hand.
Scabbard to small at the bottom. Would be nice to fit a bolt gun with a bipod on. Other than that I think it will work out good for him on this spring bear hunt!!!
This is a nice pack, and I like the scabbard, which is the whole reason I bought it, but it's just too small to do much with. I can't even use it to haul my heavy clothes back on a short day hunt when the temps rise late morning. I personally feel the same set up but with double the main pack capacity would be much more useful, and only weigh maybe a pound more, and make a lot more sense.
Since hunting season was over when I purchased this I have not had a chance to use it. A in the field review will have to wait till next season in November here in Texas. The quality of the pack though looks to be very well made.
