This was an excellent addition to my carry in and hammock gear.
Holds all my base camp requirements and easily connected to the mainframe on top of my batwings.

Recently purchased the Vapor 5000 for my mainframe. Just like everything else I have bought from Eberlestock, this component is well made and thourghly thought out. I've come to expect nothing less from Eberlestock than the absolute best equipment available on the market today.

I have both the 2500 and the 5000. Just got the 5000 a couple of weeks ago and did a quick test with some gear. It worked perfectly, is well designed and great quality. Read some reviews where they are having a hard time keeping the top closed. Messed with it for a few minutes and seemed to stay closed just fine.

It is the multi-day upgrade I needed. The V2500 is perfect for day use and a squeeze for over night. The V5000 has the room and capability for my longer hunts.

I felt the difference between the V1 and V2 was minimal. The 5000 is perfect for multiple day backpacking and hunting excursions. The outlet price was two good to pass up.

Got this from the outlet and for the price it's awesome and the size is great. I also have a vapor 2500 - too small for anything overnight, a vapor 7500 - too big for most trips and so the 5000 seems to be just the perfect size for 80% of what I do.
