Our ultralight backpack mountable shooting rest is a perfection of the kind of rest that the Marine Corps Sniper School teaches its students to make. You can attach it to any 3-wide MOLLE or PALS panel (our Padlock system), using its built-in attachment clips. This nicely finished rest can be quickly detached and remounted to various surfaces of your backpack, giving you the ability to set up a field rest with an optimal elevation for the particular place that you're shooting from. This simple rest is a great lightweight alternative to shooting sticks, bipods, and hardware-based shooting rests. Available in our NT7 hunting fabrics or 1000 denier Cordura, to match your Eberlestock pack.

I have the RMEF M5 pack, which only has MOLLE webbing on the top pouch. The top pouch is somewhat angled so I found it difficult to use. It would work perfectly if there was webbing on the middle of the M5 pack.
Bought this rest to carry on my Eberlestock packs when I hunt. Admittedly I have not had a chance to really run this as much as I want so far but now that hunting season is starting up I hope to put it to the test. Overall, it seams like what you would expect from Eberlestock and fits all my packs.
I’ve got the mounted shooting rest on my Gunslinger 2 pack. I live in Alaska and run gear hard, so far it’s exactly what I expect out of Eberlestock. My only complaint is I wish the mounting options would let me rotate the rest so the I could “point” it in any direction as opposed to being stuck with being perpendicular to the pack. There are situations that would make using the bottom of the bag as a rest while shooting off the top beneficial to precision shooting.
I added this to go with Switchback F5 pack to be used in Africa in Safari hunt for Crocodiles. I have many backpacks and many is an understatement but I really did not have one to use for hunting and hat was not camo. So after researching,
I bought this pack and then later seen this add on item and bought it. Glad I did. Very helpful especially on the run i actually used it on killing 2 Crocs and 3 Baboons.
Solid support for shooting off of my Eberlestock bag. I pack damn near everything in my bag , might as well shoot off of it. Solid, and well sewn attachment points that won't fail. Absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Wish I had gotten it sooner.
