The Foam Insert set for R1 Bang-Bang is a two-piece custom foam set designed to allow the secure storage of weapons and other sensitive items in the basement compartment of the R1 Bang-Bang. The set comes with a .5" and a 1.25" piece to provide bottom cushion when inserts have been cut. The foam is solid, images shown of cut foam are only examples.
It fits good, however, some improvements can be made here

Best range bag ever!
Have had several range bags from different companies. No contest, Bang Bang bag holds more and keeps everything neat, organized and easy to find when you need it. No more sifting, no more wondering where something is, everything stays exactly where you want it to be. Customizable for whatever your specific needs are. This is my first Eberlestock product, but I will be buying more from this company.

Foam Insert - Banh Bang Bag
Foam was out of stock when ordered bag. Purchased soon as it came back in stock. Good support for bag and nice way to stow PCC. The bag itself rocks and works perfectly for range. I shoot in the hills and carry quite a bit. We'll see overtime how well the strap holds up.

What a Bang!
This bag is huge. I can place an ammo can in it and still have room for other range gear. Lots of inside compartments that you can customize. Not to mention the generous outside pockets. There is plenty of room in the bottom compartment for the compact side art and rifle. Highly recommended.

What can I say I'm so impressed with the bang,bang bag.all the space you will need . Had 5 hand guns ,ammo,mags, ear muffs, glasses and still had plenty of space .at first I thought the price was a little steep but after my first trip to the range worth every penny.

Bang Bang shooting bag
I would like to have seen it made with the same heavier material as the Upranger and i think the foam should have been included but this is still a very nice bag. I just haven’t loaded it up with heavy ammo to see how it holds up.

Well thought out and constructed bag. As weird as this is the carry handle is fantastic. No hand fatigue.
The only issue which isn’t, is loading too much into it. The hard base is worth the price if the bag itself.
Wish they’d include the foam that goes in the bottom but not a big deal.
