Perfect for a run and gun. I did a 10k in Texas where we had to carry all our ammo and water to a station to engage targets. This pack held up perfectly.
Bought this pack to be a run and gun set up for whitetail. I’m very satisfied with the size of the pack, and the weight. It does the job and some!
Not a bad little pack. I had to burn down several spot where the stitching was poking out. The zippers get kindof stuck around the top at the bend before going down the face. Wish there were buckles at the base so one could roll down the molle compatible outer sleeve if unused (gets in the way of unzipping main compartment). Overall seems to be decent quality. Unfortunately the standard hip belt just isnt a good fit for such a small pack. Just a 1" waist strap would suffice.
Unfortunately Im still after a small daypack. This checks a few boxes but not all for me. Spendy bag for little better than average usability. Maybe someone not looking for so many options will find this bag to meet their needs. Im still on the hunt for a new pack and will be selling this one....
works great as a diaper bag, edc bag, work bag, whatever you want bag. Super durable.
I must qualify my review in that I haven't used the pack yet. I bought the pack to use with a Hill People Gear kit bag/chest rig and needed a pack with shoulder straps that would accommodate the HPG attachment. The Bandit holds my 3L water reservoir with room to spare for food, clothing, and gear for a day hike. I wanted something without a waist belt so that my waistline would have more mobility for scrambling about. This pack is ruggedly built with a thoughtful design and I am very impressed so far. My only quibbles on the design are that the water reservoir retention strap should be adjustable for tightening, and that the port for the drinking tube is only on one side instead of both. Also, the Molle panel on the back would benefit from some reinforcement and/or some elastic material similar to my Osprey Stratos. Either make it more like a pocket that a light jacket can be stuffed into, or redesign the shape and add additional strap adjustment points so that something like a helmet can be held securely. But really great little pack!
Purchased the Bandit pack for a multi-use day pack. Built a frame for use inside of the pack for a organizational divider. Bottom half is for securing my quadcopter (drone). Top half is for Jet Boil, food, cooking items, safety kit. I mounted a saddle bag from my X1 Euro (lunches, meds, extra batteries, tripod's). Using the belt from the X1 (with firearm holster). Attach my trekking poles . Modified straps for attaching my bino pouch. Also intend to carry my bow mounted to pack. After the fun when the real work starts the X1 Euro takes over. The deep side pockets keep water bottle from coming out when I fall down and everything goes flying.
One of the best investment I’ve purchased yet
Great day pack, plenty of room for the necessities and light. Rides good only regret was not getting a couple accessories for it. Will get them next order
Haven’t had a chance to use but love the size. Quality workmanship and should hold up to heavy use. Great day pack.
Excellent little day pack for short hike or everyday carry pack. High quality construction. Side pockets deep enough to hold water bottle and I like the cinch addition. I use as everyday carry pack. I wanted small, lightweight, and organizational dividers which this pack delivers. This pack needs ambidextrous side zips to a compartment between the back pad and the pack body for a pistol.
