I LOVE THIS PACK !!! I love the organizational capabilities of this pack . I have quite a few products from Eberlestock. They all fit good , but for whatever reason, this FACtrac is especially comfortable. I use this pack for hikes when I need to carry more stuff than a normal Summer day hike . During Winter I carry more clothes and a pair of snowshoes straps perfectly on the back . I give this pack a 4.5 . I REALLY WANT TO GIVE THIS PACK A 5, but I have 2 complaints . 1) the side water reservoir holders are really tight trying to get one of Eberlestock’s 2 litter bladders into . Awesome idea for the outside bladder holders , but why not just a little bigger ?
2) organizational pockets inside the lower outside pocket are too tight . A little fold/ expansion material on each pocket , making them slightly baggier would solve this . As it is trying to use all the pockets at once is a challenge. This problem is not specific only to this pack , but seems most pack manufacturers do this same thing . I’ve always been confused by this . I am packing the FACtrac right now for another outing in the Sierras this weekend! I am a very critical and discerning customer. Once again - LOVE THIS PACK ! Eberlestock customer service made sure I got my order quickly when I explained that I was leaving for the mountains in a few days and really wanted to try my new pack .
I know I’ll never use this pack for it’s intended use. But man… outstanding quality, practical, and comfortable. I needed a pack I could travel with for multiple days on road trips and through airports. The capacity is perfect and functional. Thank you for what you’re doing.
I've only had the pack a couple weeks but I loaded it up with 3 10 lb bags of flour wrapped in a trash bag and humped it up and down some 25 percent slopes in the woods behind my house. The vertically adjustable harness is great, I've a fairly long torso and that is an essential feature. I'm certainly not a FAC and don't know the first thing about that profession, but the layout and features will make this a good choice for overnight archery elk pursuits here in the Siskiyous. Not an ultralight pack, rather its robust and well made. I've no doubt it will stand up well in thick difficult terrain. Well done Eberlestock
I love this pack, it has a ton of storage and it super comfortable. Took it bear hunting last weekend in the Blues couldn’t find any complaints.
I’m getting another one soon.
The pack is big enough to fit everything I need and then some for a 2 day prs match. Super high quality and durable. Very comfortable even with a heavy load. Extremely pleased with this pack.
I’ve owned a lot of tactical / mil spec gear in my time. The FacTrac is by far the best I’ve seen in terms of build quality and design. Well done Eberlestock!
Well designed, rugged, built to last lifetime or more. This is my 3rd Eberlestock pack. Very High quality, wears well, and adjustable. Zero failure with this pack.
Great pack
This is my first pack from Eberlestock, but it won’t be my last. This pack is very well made and has plenty of room and will work great for my needs. It will be used as an all around pack for camping and hunting. When I received my pack in the mail, it did not have the rain cover that it was supposed to come with. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful and sent out a rain cover which I received in a few days.
Quality pack and great customer service!
