This is my second Eberlestock pack and yet again I am reminded why I love this company. I got the Coyote Brown and pictures don't do the color justice, it is a great mid-tone woods brown. The pack is super comfortable and bears weight effortlessly with the frame sheet ( the best frame sheet I've ever had, hands down ) and the hip belt. I got this bag primarily for one-bag travel and hiking. It has plenty of room for all my outdoor gear or enough room to pack for a multi week trip abroad with room to spare for souvenirs. The only changes I would make to the pack would be the addition of some internal organization pockets stitched into the front pockets for smaller items and some adjustable straps for the molle on the bottom of the pack to lash additional gear to the bottom of the pack. Overall I love the Highspeed II and would highly recommend it, especially if it's on sale!

Although hiking through the Floridian woods with up to a 105-108 degree heat index while carrying enough for 3 days out is pretty much always going to suck, the HiSpeed II undoubtedly helped make it more bearable and left me better off than the others I was out with. If it makes a difference, they had a Mystery Ranch SATL, a USMC issue ILBE, and a Condor 50L 3DAP. Although my pack was the smallest, we were all packed such that we each had around 45-55lbs wet. What seemed to be the biggest standout feature that made carrying the weight easier with my pack was that the HiSpeed II had by far the superior hip belt of the four, allowing me to better distribute the weight between my hips and shoulders (I'm sure the frame didn't hurt either).

Coming from an REI Trail 40, the HiSpeed directly addressed pretty much all of my gripes with that pack and more, the biggest relating structure, compartmentalization, and modularity. The frame and more robust waist belt did a significantly better job of bearing and distributing the weight of my gear. I'm also a sucker for organization, so the 2 upper and 2 lower compartments were perfect for me. It was also nice to have MOLLE/PALS webbing throughout, which actually came in very handy for me since it's how I carried my radio, knife and a GP pouch full of trail snacks on my hips and my tent, and my sleeping pad on the bottom.

While I've only got the one hike with this bag under my belt as of the writing of this review, so far it's been a great improvement that was well worth the money and I look forward to getting to put it to further use.

Holds duty belt, chest rig, broke down SBR, extra ammo and small essentials. I do wish there was more molle points and more buckle points as well for the attachment of other components. It is very well made with quality stitching and material, it’s also a very comfortable pack to wear for long periods of time. Very happy with my purchase.

The only reason I’m giving this pack, a four-star, and not a five star for the multicam version is because they do not use multicam branded webbing or straps. It is like they have sewn their own version of multicam for the webbing/straps. Even though it’s “technically” a multicam color, it appears somewhat digital and does not match the true multicam body of the back. If it wasn’t for this aspect for me, then it would have been a five star review. This is merely an aesthetics thing for me and does not affect the functionality of the pack at all. I just would have loved a truly matching multicam pack. The pack itself is truly amazing. The fit and adjustment is amazing. The Hipbelt fits and feels great. It is solid and helps distribute the load of the pack. The pack has a lot of organizational features. There are no shown in Mag Pouches which is fine. I put my three mag placard in the front pouch which fit perfectly, and gives me the ability to store three mags as well as the placard itself. This pack is sturdy and will hold up well. Overall, I am very happy I got this pack over a lot that I had been looking at or have already tried. I highly recommend this pack to anyone considering it.

Carried this bag all over Europe for a month. Never had any issues plenty of space average pack weight was 70 pounds it held up flawlessly would definitely recommend it

The "HiSpeed II" is a wonderful bag. The pockets are spacious and just the right size for a large EDC bag. After utilizing the bag over the last two weeks I've noticed only a couple of things that catch my attention in a negative way. First is the firm but strong internal frame. However, on the inside of the pack the pockets for laptop or tablet are not lined and the curvature of the internal frame presses on and threatens laptop and tablets. I could see if placing a water bladder between to cushion the curve but TSA doesn't like the water bladder. Secondly the pockets are a little too close so the zippers catch on the upper pocket. Lastly, I guess I am used to MOLLE, so the little straps stitched to the front of the pack isn't MOLLE. Not sure how it will hold up once I start tying things to it with 550 cord. But I guess we'll see.

Overall, great EDC pack. Will make a great overnight/weekend bag if necessary. Absolutely recommend this pack's versatility and attention to detail construction.

I have purchased countless amounts of Eberlestock products over the years, and this bag is my go-to bugout pack. It's comfortable under load and let's be honest, it just looks great. If it's to take a hike in the bush, along a trail, or to just get-out in a hurry, this bag will hold the necessities. I keep my first aid gear, hydration, snacks, GPS and my EDC's and can still sling a rifle if I'm out on a stalk during hunting season. For longer excursions, I use my Phantom pack for its rifle scabbard and larger storage capacity, but for everything else, the HiSpeed II is my number 1.

My 7th Eberlestock pack! I specifically bought the HiSpeed 2 to use while I travel overseas. Lots of room, yet agile and small enough to carry on flights. Very comfortable and can't beat the accessibility of the pockets. This is my new "Go To" pack for travel.

BLUF: It's a good bag, comfortable with lots of functional storage.

I'm not going to lie, I don't think it's the most aesthetically pleasing bag. However, it is incredibly functional. I wasn't sure how much I'd like the way the main compartment is partitioned, but it's a feature that I continue to find more uses for. The bag has tons of storage space, it's very comfortable, and one hell of an upgrade from my Molle II Assault pack. The zipper action is smooth as butter and easy to grip. I appreciate the straps are designed to easily rolled and stowed, to prevent turning into a spaghetti monster. The quick release mechanism for the shoulder straps simple and again functional. My only complaint is the compressed upper portion, reduces some potential storage capacity, but probably not much.

While the pack is comfortable well designed, the shoulder tightening strap broke on my second use. The pack wasn’t overpacked or mishandled. It just ripped and I had to tie it into a knot to continue using it, which is very inconvenient 6 miles into a mountain trek overseas.

This is the perfect 30lb pack. A woman, 61, was walking 5 miles at 32 pounds pack weight. The HighSpeed 2 has two front pockets, high and low with separate zippers to access them. Inside are the inner chambers. The inside upper pocket has strong velcro. This can be separated to open the inner chamber to be a large area or keep it velcroed and have two chambers. I put 25 pounds in the upper inner chamber directly on the velcroed bottom. I found hiking was easy with the weight between my shoulder blades inside the pack. The pocket held the weight with no problem, staying closed and secured from the bottom chamber. This inner chamber includes a water bag pocket. The pack has a nice inner frame, holding the pack close to you with miniamal side movement. The Highspeed 2 has a belt at the perfect width and padded just right. You feel the pack is secure to your body like a second skin. Included is a waterproof cover. I ordered 1 more after the first one. Great gift.

Veautiful back support and plenty of storage. Whether you are keeping the compartments sperate or opening it up it feels great and makes carrying heavier loads effortless!

Hands down the best bag on the market. I dont know if I use it like most would but here’s what I use it for. I drive around in my truck all day and I use this bag for multiple different things. It holds my labtop with note pad. Then I have a trauma kit and first aid kit. Then I have my mk18 with 2 mags and two mags for my pistol. Only thing I wish it had was a strap on the inside that would hold the AR in place.

This is my second Eberlestock pack and I chose it for specific long range shooting needs. It fits my whole kit (including tripod) perfectly and still maintains a small enough profile to be used for other lighter purposes. Excellent build quality and use of space (especially the internal divider). Highly recommended.
