Emod additions

I have the mainframe II.
I want to have a day pack setup. The large Batwings are big enough for food water, and extra clothes/layers. I
Like them a lot. I can easily attach them or add to the vapor 5000 for additional room for multiday hunts. A great addition for the batwings is the pack lid. I wanted a pack setup with options, the emod is awesome.

good quality, options

modularity is cool gives options for my main frame, easy on easy off. only complaint and it is a minor one. I would like to see an improved design for the cord loops that keep the zipper from opening Some are to short some to long and some are missing.

I like the length of the bag and color and the lanyard that they attach to the zipper to make it easier to unzip the bag.

Perfect for everything you need during the day on mountain mule deer hunt. Smaller batwings were maxed out. These fit the bill! Love’em!

Modular

Ich liebe das modulare sistem und die viele Möglichkeiten. Schwere Lasten und Tiertransporte sind kein Problem und die Last ist ausgeglichen auf den Rücken

Frame pack and batwing combo is elite

I’ve read dozens and dozens or reviews on frame hunting packs. Finally decided to spend the money and I had no idea how nice this pack would be. The frame pack with batwings that zip right onto it is SICK. Incredible. Absolutely recommend. All of my Eberlestock gear is top notch.

Received my large batwings....and I'm excited to use on my next hunt! This will enable me to bring more gear without missing out on all that room on my meat shelf.

Another Great Addition to the EMOD Family

I’m a huge fan of the Eberlestock EMOD system. I have every component, two main frames, and my son and I can switch off depending upon the hunting or hauling solution we need. This is the perfect addition to round out the total product line. 5 stars!

Large Batwing

I originally only got one amd the mainframe pack. It is big enough to carry most everything I want to take with me. I decided to get a second one to carry more water and a couple other small items with me. I have about 35 miles with all my new gear on dirt roads and over uneven ground where there are no trails. I have had zero issues so far and wish I would have gotten setup like this sooner. I get a bear tag most years and I think this setup will help me get into my spot with the gear I will need.

Way bigger than expected, very happy

Rugged. Reliable

I have used Eberlestock rucks for several years now. My go bag is an eberlestock, my EDC. Is eberlestock. My hunting kit, hiking kit and weapon scabbard are all eberlestock. This is the must reliable, rugged and dependable equipment ever. Remember, if you want quality, you pay for what you get. With eberlestock. You will definitely get your moneys worth and more.

F1 frame pack zipper attachment sucks so bad that i might return the entire set i purchased. The plastic zipper hooks are 100% bound to break off as they are load bearing. And leaving the zippers unhooked allows it to completely unzip your load from the pack. Tell your engineering department to change the direction of the zipper so it zips top to bottom and has a (metal) button stay that folds over the zipper to keep it in place at the bottom. Then add a few more load straps that go across the frame and make them METAL kobra style buckles or anything that isn't plastic. The "quick detatch" field buckles are not cute or effective. They are weak and annoying.

Large bat wings

Love these large bat wings. With these I can easily take what I need for day hunt with out the extra weight that always comes with larger packs.

Excellent versitility

Love using this with the frame and the vapor 5000. Goes from a day pack to a multi day sheep hunt in nothing flat.

Large Batwings was exactly what I needed!

Needed something a bit larger to fit all the additional camera and cold weather gear for mountaineering trips! Theres even a gap between the batwings and the mainframe when zipped up that is perfect for a waterbag pouch or a first aid kit. Very modular setup that I can strip down depending on the mountain i'm tackling.

More pockets and zippers instead of straps.

The batwings need more pockets to be able to better organize small gear. My old Cabelas pack is definitely better about organizational options.

Then if there was zippers instead of the straps to attach the batwings securely to the center body of the pack ie; the basin. It would be way better. I’ll make it work, but there’s room for significant improvement.

Can the batwings be used on the Mission EMOD frame?

Eberlestock

No, you would need the Mission wings.
