Solid Rig

Excellent quality, above and beyond storage space and options for its size. Comfortable to carry and convenient to access on the go. Everything I need and then some!

Switch Blade

I like the Bag. There are some things that I find very lovely and some things that are a little upsetting. The weight distribution is fantastic. I put about 60 pounds in the bag, and it felt great all day. Now, the one thing I would prefer to avoid is that I have to lean it against something for it to stay up straight. I do find this frustrating, but I understand why it does this. One for easy access to your things in the bag, but if you don't lean it against something, it is hard to pull your sidearm out. Overall a great bag, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Almost perfect

I love this bag. It has great organization, it’s durable and well made. My disappointment with this pack is the straps. The material on the under side of the straps is similar to a Brillo pad or sand paper. If you are wearing a jacket or thick shirt no problem. But it will rub your shoulders raw with a thin shirt or if you were to hike without a shirt for a period of time.

The pack is so well thought out and well done otherwise it’s a shame that the straps are so uncomfortable. It would be nice if you offered a different material or strap set up. I’ve used many mountaineering packs and rock climbing packs and the straps were much better.

Was between 3 bags glad I made this choice.

I was between the switchblade, the bandit and the jacknife. Customer service reached out as I had all 3 in my cart. I told them I was between the 3 bags and wouldn’t you know it but they had a video that went through the differences, space, attachments and special features per each bag. Ended on the switchblade and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Pack is perfect for carrying my EDC gear along with my laptop for work. I went with the blue so it would blend in and not stand out like a tactical bag. Well made and super durable

Versatile, Efficient and Damn Near Indestructible

As someone who swears by Eberlestock products, I was not the least bit shocked by how well conceived and engineered this pack is. It's minimalist in design and aesthetically clean. Although it is marketed as an EDC bag (a role in which it fills beautifully,) it doesn't scream "tactical". It does draw a bit of attention from both the hiking and IT crowd though, who are frequently stopping me to ask about it. Like all Eberlestock products, the materials are exceptional and the construction is rugged. This pack will definitely outlast me and I put it through it's paces daily as not only an EDC but also a laptop, range, carry-on and day hiking pack. It would have been nice if they included a hip belt but if you absolutely need it then Eberlestock does offer one as an accessory (though as of the time of this review it only comes in black, grey, military green and dry earth so you may have to accept that your pack and belt may not be matchy-matchy.) Pockets are well placed and easily accessible and the main compartment is roomier than I expected. The magnetic closure CCW compartment is robust and can accommodate sub-compact to full frame handguns. I opted for a reversible rain cover which almost immediately paid for itself by protecting my laptop as well as some important documents I was carrying. Frankly I could wax on all day about why this pack is so great but the bottom line is this, kids; It's smart, attractive, bulletproof and worth the price tag. If you're looking for a subtle and efficient small-medium pack then your search has ended. Buy it. You won't regret it.
