Keeping your hands warm without wearing gloves and losing fine motor dexterity was the main goal of the Recon Handwarmer. The handwarmer attaches to the bottom of the Recon Modular Bino Harness and keeps your hands optimally positioned for comfort while sitting or standing. Additional air activated hand warmers can be kept in the front zipper pouch where an included waist belt is stored to be able to use the handwarmer independently from the Recon.

Hand warmer

Good quality but a bit thin! Not much insulation

I thought it was a little small, but it worked out perfect on my Alaska hunt

Made to be abused!

Very tough material, but the stitching is just as tuff! Can’t wait to hit the mountains with my new pack!

Excellent Hand Warmer!

This is an excellently thought-out design for a hunting hand warmer. It is warm,, but also roomy, so there is space to fit a hand warming appliance inside to help warm your hands. It has a nice roomy opening that does not allow draft in, with plenty of inside space to fit even my large hands - gloved! It has a velcro attachment ability, but unfortunately that doesn't work very well with the recon binoc harness they sell - the velcro doesn't want to stick. The hand warmer can be used separately as it comes with a sling to wear distinct from harness or equipment belt. The lack of decent velcro attachment to the harness almost made me down-grade this item one, but it is, on reflection, a fault of the harness, not the hand warmer. The hand warmer works on its own just fine.

Eberlestock has proven themselves yet again. Their products are top shelf. It is readily apparent that a lot of thought went into their products. I use them with confidence and regularly have to allow other to see the quality of the items I own.
