The backpack can be adjusted very well. Good to wear. Well made.
I purchased it with the intention of backpacking Europe. I saw another comment saying they used it for the same purpose. I definitely got it for that reason and am super satisfied. Eberlestock is such a great company I am a satisfied customer forsure!!
I’ve had a lot of packs for various things. This pack is the best assault pack I’ve ever had. They say you can be a Jack of all trades but a master of none. This pack however is the exception. Very comfortable with loads of 50lbs+, does not exceed your side and doesn’t go much over your shoulders so it’s very easy to get through small spaces and to be prone. It’s very modular and also expands for bigger loads and cinches down very well with small loads. It’s also extremely durable. I can use it for an assault pack or even a 7 day pack. Most versatile pack I own.
This is my second pack/ruck from Eberlestock, with my first being the F4 Terminator. And like that pack- this one handles and is designed with rugged “adventures” in mind. Again, sits snug and contoured against the back, robust stitching throughout, well thought out pocket and compartment layout. I personally love the streamlined profile of the High Speed, as I wanted the option to load up with just the essentials (approx 1800cu) and be nibble and maneuverable when in a pinch or tricky position. I combined it with a 3L water bladder and their waist belt pouch (it too has YKK zippers and pockets) and now it checks all my boxes. If there was ONE thing I’d improve upon is having loops at the bottom of the pack for attaching items (sleep roll/bags etc). All the same- next thing I’ll be getting is a small rain cover (FE) and a WP (FE as well) bag for further interior protection of the pack. Bravo gents- another product well executed
I really like this pack. I’m using it for every day carry. I would like to see handles on the side of this pack like the Gunslinger II has. I’ve gotten so used to using them that it’s really noticeable not having them. This is my third pack from Eberlestock and I don’t have any real complaints. Theses packs are well built, durable and long lasting. There are a lot of accessories available for these packs as well offering many different configurations for the pickiest of people. Eberlestock supports the shooting sports, veterans and I’ve heard some charities as well. I am completely satisfied with their products and the way they do business.
HiSpeed II
Amazing quality and just what I wanted in a pack
As a person who does a lot of outdoor activities such as hikes and camping, I would highly recommend a pack such as this. The pack is incredibly lightweight compared to other framed packs and slim enough not to get in the way of maneuverability. Moreover, the comfort of the Hispeed II is top-tier; from previous experiences with other framed packs, they tend to get a bit uncomfortable after a while, but as for the Hispeed II, I barely felt discomfort on my hikes. Furthermore, the pack offers plenty of space for at least 3 days' worth of supplies. It's a solid framed pack and my go-to for outdoor activities.
Nicely built and fits nice and snug to the body also a lot of space to utilize.
