iv been comparing hunting packs for a while and was mostly looking into exo, kufaru, kuiu and some other hunting brands. I saw this mainframe one day and compared it to the others. I ended up choosing the mainframe with vapor 5000 and also got the bat wings. this thing is perfect for a long weekend backpack hunting trip, or I can use the batwings for day trips. I haven't carried out and animal quarters yet so I can't speak on how it handles that. but I have however strapped weights to it and done some good trail hiking and it performed better than expected. it's not like I thought it wasn't going to be good, but I was surprised how comfortable it was right out the gate and even after miles of hiking. I have already recommended to some friends and family would definitely recommend to anyone who will be carrying out weight in the woods. and there's nothing out there as versatile

I bought the mainframe and Vapor 5000 and it is super comfortable and there is a ton of space inside. The quality is great and it looks amazing too. There are so many design features that will be very useful in any wilderness expedition. Thanks so much Eberlestock for the great products!

The design of this frame and the different configurations intrigued me. I decided to give it a shot and that was the best decision I've ever made. The lumbar support on the harness is insane and makes weight easy to carry. Great support going through your back as well and good ventilation in the back. I really like the webbing on the hip belt as well, it makes it easy to attach a small accessory pouch, medic pouch for quick access or even mount a handgun. I picked up the Vapor 5000 with it and a Batwing shortly after. I love how within 2 minutes I can completely refigure my pack for a back country hunt or just a day trip to do some scouting. Due to the versatility and great design, I think this is a frame every hunter / backpacker should be running.

Ordered mine with the batwings. Love the way it fits my already owned day bag with the addition of the batwing storage. Pretty excited to put it to work this fall.

I have worn it with a pack a few times and hiked up and down a hill in training for a longer trek. It is very comfortable, adjustable, and distributes weight nicely around my waste, putting little pressure on my shoulders. So far so good! I’m happy I bought it with the EMOD 5000.
