At Eberlestock, we're proud to design high-performance packs for military, law enforcement, hunters, and competitive shooters. Our UpRanger Bag, designed specifically for precision rifle competitors, offers rugged durability, smart storage, and fast access to gear. Inspired by a champion 3-Gunner, we've redefined the packing experience by engineering it to drop on its polycarbonate outer face, allowing shooters to unzip from the harness side for quick access—without dirt or wear. Whether for PRS matches, the range, or even as a durable camera bag, our UpRanger delivers the functionality and durability shooters need.

"Having the right gear can make all the difference in precision rifle competition, and Eberlestock understands exactly what shooters need in a high-performance pack," said Ken Wheeler, Director of the PRS. "The UpRanger Bag has become a favorite among PRS competitors, and we're excited to officially partner with Eberlestock to bring their top-tier packs to more shooters across the sport."

“We’re incredibly excited to become the Official Pack of the Precision Rifle Series. It’s an honor to be part of such a close-knit community of talented shooters who are so dedicated to their craft. At Eberlestock, we share the same passion for precision and performance, and we’re proud to partner with the PRS to continue to drive the sport forward. Our gear is made to push boundaries and we're excited to help PRS shooters do the same,” said Kirk Calzacorta, Director of Marketing, Eberlestock.

The collaboration will also emphasize the critical role that quality gear plays in competitive shooting, ensuring that PRS competitors are equipped with the best tools for success. Eberlestock, based out of Idaho, brings years of expertise in designing gear that stands up to the toughest conditions, providing shooters with reliable, functional packs that enhance performance on the range and in the field. By combining innovation with durability, Eberlestock continues to set the standard for shooting gear, and their support for the PRS community will help competitors perform at their best, match after match.

Eberlestock values its partnership with the PRS and looks forward to working together to support its members, elevate national Pro Series competitions, and contribute to the growth of the sport. In 2025, the PRS will host 50 national-level precision rifle competitions, culminating in the PRS Pro Series Finale on November 1-2, 2025, at WAR Rifles – Geissele Range in Tremont, Pennsylvania, where Eberlestock will proudly serve as a sponsor.

More from Eberlestock

At Eberlestock, we’ve always believed the best gear comes from listening to the alpine hunters, the professional snipers, and the countless users who rely on our gear. That’s why the new Brooks 3500 and Brooks 7000 packs aren’t just new packs. They’re a continuation of our design philosophy: make it durable, make it modular, and never stop improving.

Fitness has always been part of my life. I was a multisport athlete growing up and started lifting weights when I was 13. I spent time coaching, and I was an Infantryman where I got very comfortable rucking under heavy weight in tough conditions. Since then, I’ve chased new challenges through triathlons, ultramarathons, and countless miles in the backcountry with a pack on my back.

Inspired by a champion 3-Gunner who didn’t like the normal sequence of dismounting a pack face-down and rolling the straps in the dirt, the UpRanger™ changes the game. Drop the pack on its polycarbonate outer face and unzip from the harness side for quick access to everything you need without unnecessary wear or dirt. Whether you use it for the range, PRS matches, or a durable and secure camera bag, the UpRanger will handle it all.

Get this Bag

This range bag is awesome. Keeps all your mags for multiple calibers, extra ammo, ear pro and tools all in one conveinent bag! I have other bags but this is the only one I use now, whether indoors our outside at any range, this bag is the one to buy. The hard bottom is great for dropping it in the dirt and your gear not getting all jacked up. Buy this bag if you want to keep ypur gear all squared away.

Perfection

Over the years iv purchased many packs.
The upranger is by far the best most organized,
Most comfortable pack to carry my range gear and camera equipment. I will be taking this pack on all my hunts as well.
You can’t ask for more on a product like this.

Almost perfect

I know everybody has their own idea of how a bag should be especially when it comes to compartmentalization. We take what we can get and choose the best one for what we need it for. The one important thing I would change in this is the center divider and all the smaller ones should be rigid With padding on the outside. I haven’t used mine yet but it stands at the ready!
Honestly… There’s nothing else I would change about it!

Good. No water pouch.

I've used this pack for one match now. It's very comfortable on the shoulders and back. Carries weight very well. However there's not intuitive way to carry water. For the life of me I don't understand the philosophy of having the webbing on the side panels of the pack vertical rather than horizontal to easily attach a water pouch. Others have told me to put the water inside of the pack, but that simply defeats the purpose and of course would take up valuable space inside of the pack. I encourage Eberlestock to design a water pouch specifically for the Upranger or if they decide to do a "Gen II" they make a change.
