My new favorite bag

I’ve always been a vertx guy but I just got my first Eberlestock bag and I’ll never go back.

Quality pack

First eberlestock purchase and I’m really impressed with the quality. I bought this to use at PRS matches and there’s plenty of room for my match gear plus rain gear, hydration and I’m able to pack my tripod. Weight is distributed nicely. The shoulder straps are well built and comfortable.

The Halftrack pack was well thought out with all the compartments and mollie. Very many places to store items both inside and out. The material feels very durable as well as the zippers.

Incredible rucksack

First of all I was really impressed with the delivery time, ordered from London, UK, got in in 3 days. I can say this super quality ruck. Really like it. Although I'm not quite sold on the laser cut molle webbing.

Honestly best bag I’ve bought in a while. Just hopped I had bought it before. Super happy with the quality

Excellent quality minor gripes

Best quality built ruck I've felt as far as overall structurall and material quality. some minor/intermediate gripes I have are as follows. There is no upper or lower access to main compartment which will be very annoying if you molle anything to the only access on the back. Zipper to main compartment has a divider meaning you can't zip all the way around if you're trying to really stuff the main compartment. I wish the outer Molle panel wasn't sowed directly in and instead was on 4 straps with hardware to loosen or tighten it around a helmet or other gear. As is sits you could not fit much in between the molle panel and the main compartment flap. I wish the sides of the main zipper compartment had straps and buckles across to not only secure internal stowage but too pull sides of the zipper closer to stuff more into the main compartment in a pinch. The side saddle bags are very long but only have access from the top meaning getting anything out of them you packed on the bottom quite a chore and depending on arm size and length you may have to shake it out upside down if it's stuck in their. The side saddle issue is almost to the point it feels like an oversight quite frankly unless they only expect you to put an axe or aomething to that effect in their but they would be swimming with room around them if you didnt stuff some rags or shirts or something in there. I just dont understand what exactly they were designed to carry, even water bladders dont seem the appropriate shape or size for them although i havnt yet purchased the eberlestock water bladders. Lastly I tried pretty hard to make sure the pack was the correct size but I really wish the main compartment was a half inch too an inch deeper. If you pack a standard usarmy winter bag and bivvy and I mean completely cinch them down in a compression sack to the point of the bag being hard as a rock it will barely fit inside the main compartment and will leave very little extra room for storage. This makes it a summer only bag for me unfortunately. There is a pretty quality feeling rain covering that is included in the bottom compartment that I wasn't expecting and was planning on purchasing myself which is a really cool inclusion.

Not nearly as able to fit as much as I thought. My issued molle medium ruck fits more. Great fit though and great construction
