The Eberlestock Tomahawk is a long-range pack that's stripped of non-essential features, resulting a clean and efficient all-purpose load hauler weighing in at 7.75 lbs.  Its no-shelf Intex II frame combines the best characteristics of internal and external frames, giving the Tomahawk outstanding load-bearing comfort and performance.

Although stripped down, the Tomahawk is still feature rich. A floating lid doubles as a removable fanny pack go-bag.  Bottle holders, full length side pockets, and quick-stow sleeves are on each side. The main compartment is accessed through either a storm-collar top or the quick-pull spade front door.  The interior features a Nylex back wall (15"x11"), tuck pockets, and EMOD Hookup links.

This one is the perfect size when the halftrack isn’t enough but the terminator is too much

Rolls Royce of Ruck Sacks

Purchased two examples of the Tomahawk. One Coyote Brown and another Multicam, which I will be keeping in it's original packaging just in case. Use the Coyote Brown example as a daily. Best ruck I've ever come across in the 60L to 70L range. The big complaint people have typically seems to regard the "Floating Lid." I tied the straps of my floating lid to the compression straps and seems to perform just fine. Super comfortable as well. It's going to be very hard for me to deviate from Eberlestock rucks now.

Thus back pack is almost perfect, the side pockets are exposed to the elements. If it's raining they can fill up with water as they do not have drain holes, Idk if this is by design or an oversight. The top lid also sags and does not cover the main compartment very well at all if its not loaded to the top.The padding and frame is amazing I loaded this up with 50lbs and rucked 10 miles like a breeze.

I bought this to replace my army issued medium ruck sack. Fits great with the harness adjust system and easily fits a 3 day load. Very well constructed and comfortable to wear even with a 40lb load.

Awesome Ruck

Bought the Tomahawk to use for hiking and backcountry long distance rucks. Great size and the weight distribution is on point. Only thing I would have preferred is molle on the backing, similar to the Fac track, instead of the nylex back wall. Nitpicky I know.

I ordered this pack from Canada. Pack came surprisingly fast. Pack is absolutely beautiful. Super well made and extremely comfortable. I Would never go with another Pack!
